Green-eyed honey Sean Korey, 29,of Santa Cruz, California, attacked a Halloween partygoer dressed as a Fox News Anchor with a tennis racket, shouting “I hate FOX News!” – becoming America’s hottest jailbird since Jeremy Meeks (remember him?).
According to Yahoo News: Sean Kory, a 29-year-old from Santa Cruz, was at the city’s annual Halloween parade on Friday when police say he spotted the victim, voiced his opinion about the cable news network, grabbed the victim’s microphone prop, “proceeded to rub the microphone on his crotch” and pummeled the victim with an aluminum tennis racket.
Lucky microphone.
From the The Daily Mail:
The assault victim called police, prompting Kory to try and flee on foot. After a short chase he was tracked down, restrained, and booked into the county jail, said Deputy Police Chief Steve Clark in a news release. It isn’t known whether Kory was also in costume – or why he had a tennis racket. His bond amount was also not available.
So we gotta ask: Who’d you rather?
Me? I’m going with Sean.

Mathu says about the black and white t-shirt design on Facebook:
Due to a technical glitch in my favor, I get to have two tee shirts for my show. So…. double the fun, plus the second batch will be cheaper, ergo, more affordable. I mean, it never really happened if there isn’t a merchandise option.
Which one do you prefer? Black and white? Or beautiful orange locks?

London-based art-chitect Alex Chinneck has a “transformative art project,” the Melting House, a life-sized recreation of an old candle factory made out of paraffin wax bricks that he is slowly melting, brick by brick.
Built for the annual Merge Festival in Bankside, London, Chinneck used 8,000 paraffin wax bricks (cast in terrecota sand) to construct the two-story structure to the exact same scale as the original candle factory that was based there centuries ago.
The house will be on display for the duration of the art festival, 30 days. As the days go by, however, Chinneck will use a handheld heating apparatus to heat the bricks of the home, melting the wax according to the artist’s vision.
Eventually, the “brick” walls will be artfully transformed into a red waxy heap until the only thing left is the roof resting on top. (via Inhabit)

Hyper-literate nerdcore rapper MC Frontalot has an incredibly odd retelling of the Goldilocks fairy tale, told from the bears’ point of view. Of the zombie-like human menace, the Papa Bear explains: “People don’t have feelings like bears, honey / They’re supernatural creatures who eat without cease / And they bound books full of us recipes.” Trippy stuff. Watch it after the jump.

Angelina Jolie graces the cover of Vanity Fair looking lovely, of course, but decidedly lemur-like. When did THAT start to happen? And when did her famously green eyes become blue-gray? Very odd.
In the article, Jolie talks to Vanity Fair editor Janine di Giovanni about the possibility of one day entering the political arena:
Jolie’s prolific political activities suggest that she may at some point try her hand at elected or appointed office. “When you work as a humanitarian, you are conscious that politics have to be considered,” she tells di Giovanni. “Because if you really want to make an extreme change, then you have a responsibility.” Jolie then catches herself. “But I honestly don’t know in what role I would be more useful—I am conscious of what I do for a living, and that [could] make it less possible.”
In di Giovanni’s last meeting with Jolie, however, Jolie’s opinion seems to have shifted. When directly asked if she sees herself pursuing a life in politics, diplomacy, or public service, Jolie says, “I am open.”

Brent Ridge and Josh Kilmer-Purcell, from The Fabulous Beekman Boys and winners of The Amazing Race have opened a pop-up shop in the East Village! Brent told The New York Times that he chose the location because it had a “sense of sustainability, grit, strife and entrepreneurship that perfectly fits where our company is at the moment.” The popup store (The Beekman 1802 Holiday Gift Emporium,) is a mini-version of their flagship store in Sharon Springs, N.Y. The pop up store is stocked with Lump of Kohl soap ($15) made from the milk of goats on their farm, cheese cutters forged by their blacksmith ($28), linens made by their master weaver and autographed copies of their four books.
The Beekman 1802 Holiday Gift Emporium is open Tuesday to Sunday, until Dec. 23, from noon to 6 p.m. Brent and Josh are available for personal shopping by appointment on Mondays at 80 East Seventh Street (First Avenue).

Baltimore’s own Klitorika Browne stops by the Transformation studio today to give me a raaaather labor-intensive makeover she says was inspired by ’80s Geometry textbooks. Hmmm. As I grew up in the 1940s, that reference was completely lost on me, but a quick Google search confirms THIS is what he meant. Check out this retrospective video collection of life in West Hollywood, a city of extremes (good, bad, ugly), which features World of Wonder’s documentary 101 Rent Boys (2000). Learn about WeHo’s social history from all angles, including the perspective of the boys who worked on Santa Monica Boulevard.
For some, “Alice in WeHoLand” describes what West Hollywood is all about. The YouTube video featuring Todrick Hall and produced by the city to promote crosswalk safety already has garnered nearly 200,000 views in the two weeks since it launched. It also has won praise from fans of Hall, of the clueless and twinky crosswalk pedestrian (Willam Belli) and the boys in tank tops dancing in the streets.
While that video provides one look at West Hollywood, there are many perspectives. A search of YouTube and Vimeo turns up dozens of videos (beyond those that are advertisements for local businesses) that call out the city’s history, look at its residents and their various ways of life and both poke fun at and celebrate the city we love.
Another painful side of West Hollywood gay life is revealed in 101 Rent Out Boys directed by World of Wonder‘s Fenton Bailey and Randy Barbato. This video features interviews with nearly a dozen male escorts in West Hollywood of the 101 in the actual film. The video was made in 2000, before the proliferation of mobile phone apps such as Grindr and Scruff that have taken escorts off the streets although not out of West Hollywood life. “I don’t really have any friends, I just have customers,” says David, summing up the sadness of the story.

An anti-police brutality march shuts down part of Hollywood Boulevard this afternoon right outside the World of Wonder offices! More than 100 protesters – wearing Guy Faulks and gas masks – took part in this march which was believed to be linked to other “Million Mask March” protests in several U.S. and international cities. Also there was douchelord DJ Steve Aoki who turned the protest into his own personal photo op, posing Christ-like in front of the swat team….girl, bye. Check out some exclusive photos here on the WOW Report! Video to follow!
Some are calling this the Million Mask March, which is put together by the group Anonymous and is taking place across nearly 500 locations throughout the world. On the websiteMillionMaskMarch.com, the group states they are “advocating hacktivism as self-defense for unconstitutional government. It is our aim to shed light on corrupt government in order to set people free from oppression.” (via Fox LA)

Nicki Minaj has a great body… of knowlege about reptiles! Absolutely brilliant parody (or non-parody, depending how you look at it) of the hit single “Anaconda” – expertly detailing all you need to know about the South American snake, and sung by an absolutely adorable chibi version of Nicki Minaj. Or a slutty Dora the Explorer, I couldn’t tell. (via College Humor)
