Last week, we reported the sad news that gay porn star Dimitri Kane had passed away. At the time, there was some confusion regarding the cause of death but an autopsy has revealed that he did in fact take his own life on November 22. Reportedly, Kane had been living in a treatment center battling a drug addiction, though his supportive family told the South Florida Gay News that “He was entirely happy on Saturday evening,” they said. “Nothing seemed to be wrong.”
Kane performed for various studios over the years including ManRoyale, Pride Studios, Men.com and NextDoorStudios.

Actress Holland Taylor, star of Two and a Half Men, Legally Blonde and The L Word, during her guest appearance on WNYC’s popular podcast Death, Sex & Money spoke to host Anna Sale about knowing from an early age that traditional marriage was not for her.
“My first boyfriend spoke about from the other room, I was taking a shower, and he spoke about ’Maybe we should think about getting married,’ This was when I was still in college. And I literally looked down at the shower floor and the drain and thought no, no, no, no as the water swirled around the drain.”
Asked if she liked the idea of marriage these days, Holland replied:
“Well, my relationship is with a woman, and I have not — given my generation it would not be something that would automatically occur to me. But she’s mentioned it because just from a spiritual point of view, from a heart point of view, as a deed that has a very rich symbolic gesture to it, it has its attraction. But it’s been a very casual conversation at this point. But it’s not — it would be a very private thing. I would not do that publicly. But as a symbol, as a pledge, as a plighting one’s troth I would see it — that it would be a wonderful thing to do.”
Taylor was asked if she would like to share her partner’s name…
“Well, I feel at this point in the conversation it feels kind of awkward. Now I feel very very shy of it. I’ve been really wrestling with this lately because most of my relationships have been with women and I don’t like talking about them because I don’t like talking about the politics of it all because I’m not political about it. I think we’re ridiculous in this country about it. Ridiculous.
And so, it’s awkward because if I talk about relationships in my life or people that have been in my life, or somebody I’ve been seeing for a while or this, that and the other thing, I’d like to be able to just say that, without having to stop and say, ‘so have you come out?’ No, I haven’t come out because I am out. I live out.”
I can pretty much guarantee, Ms. Taylor, that you’ve inspired some woman of a certain age to be honest abut who she is. Coming out always has a ripple effect. You can hear the full interview below.

Entertainment Weekly has announced that RuPaul’s Drag Race is about to unveil its first-ever holiday special, RuPaul’s Drag Race: A Green Screen Christmas on Logo! RuPaul will celebrate the holiday season with performances of Christmas classics and original songs from RuPaul’s new holiday album Slay Belles, including duets with Todrick Hall, Big Freedia, Ellis Miah, Michelle Visage, Siedah Garrett, and Markaholic.
As if this wasn’t already festive enough, Drag Race fan-faves including Latrice Royale, Raja, Laganja Estranja, Alyssa Edwards, and Shangela, will also get in the holiday groove to join RuPaul for his new music video “Merry Christmas, Mary,” which features 20(!) drag queens from past seasons of Drag Race.
RuPaul commented to Logo:
“This holiday TV special and new Christmas album Slay Belles are my gifts to all the truly twisted RuPaul’s Drag Race fans around the world, who continue to inspire me with their love for everything sickening and fabulous,” said RuPaul.

Escape Room LA, which I’ve written about before on this very blog, has a brand new room that Thairin and I recently had the chance to experience The Theatre, and it was a hoot and a half!
From the press release for Escape Room LA’s newest adventure, The Theatre:
Participants in The Theatre find themselves trapped backstage in a theatre where they are not the only captives. Participants will need to find a series of unusual objects in the haunted theatre to perform the spell that will release themselves and the ghost that resides there. In this spooky, not scary adventure, participants will be able to use the theatre setting to solve puzzles using lights, ropes, sounds and props. Numerous surprises wait to surprise those who are familiar with Escape LA’s other adventures as well as those who are brand new to escape rooms.
The Theatre joins Escape Room LA’s other two adventures The Detective (read more about that one here) and The Cavern. Both are very fun, especially if you have a big group of friends, but don’t worry if it’s just you and a friend or even just you by yourself, you’ll meet new friends and play the game with them! And remember, this isn’t SCARY! It may be a little spooky, like a children’s ghost story, but you won’t run out of the room terrified. I promise!

2016 is already looking severe up in here! Two of our shows, Big Freedia: Queen of Bounce and Transcendent (which shared September 30 premiere dates on Fuse this year) are coming back in the new year!

Fuse has renewed three of its original series following its September 30 re-launch.Big Freedia: Queen Of Bounce will return for a fifth season in 2016; whileTranscendent willget a second season, also for premiere in 2016.
Big Freedia Season 4 is coming off the best season premiere in network history among Adults 18-34, Persons 12-34 and Persons 2+, Fuse says.The series also had its best-rated season among Adults 18-34 and finished +13 percent higher than season three, the network says.
Transcendent also is coming off strong ratings with the best new series premiere among Adults 18-3, according to Fuse. It was the second highest-rated first season of any original series ever on Fuse among Adults 18-34, second only to fellow freshman hit Fluffy Breaks Even, starring comedian Gabriel “Fluffy” Iglesias. Additionally,Transcendent ratings increased +55% from Live+SD to Live+3 among Adults 18-34, according to the network and Nielsen.

Cazwell admits that he has a HUGE thang for a big juicy Latin a$$ (lol…DUH). His latest video for single ¡Spicy!, inspired by his last bf, shows off lots of homo humps, ready for pumpin and pillaging. This is the second time Caz has collaborated with 19 y/o artist/director Bob Bottle, who also conceptualized the sex fest Downtown video. Says Bottle;
“The visuals were all composed as still photo collages and then set into motion around the video footage, a method which prior to this video I had only used for 15 second animations on Instagram.”
Cazwell elaborates;
“When I was planning out this video with Bob, we wrote down a list of the things that had been inspiring us artistically lately.A lot of it came from Mexican culture, Christianity and the show, Ancient Aliens. We decided to try to find a way to combine all three and make it work for the video. It was very organic.”

Last night, Colton Haynes took to his Twitter account to express his thoughts on a serious issue that’s often overlooked in our culture: anxiety. He shared an article basically stating that anxiety issues typically hurt one’s social status, and then followed with this series of meaningful Tweets:

Colton basically hit the nail on the head by explaining that anxiety is a serious disorder and not a case of “being dramatic” as many would assume. And it’s also difficult to imagine such a star as Colton Haynes having to go through issues so many of us face, but it was a brave gesture on his part to publicly address something that has unfortunately become so stigmatized and misunderstood in our culture.
If only we could give Colton a big kiss right now!

I can’t oversell this enough. You’re going to PLOTZ when you see drag legend Britney Girl Dale strutting up and down Ritchie Highway in Baltimore, where she’s a bit of a local celebrity. Watch as she twirls and waves to the honking cars, posing for pictures and soaking up the adoration of her fans. “Hey BritneyGirl, I love you!” someone screams from the opposite lane. “Love you too, baby,” Dale yells back, blowing a kiss. “They just love me out here,” she confides to the camera. And for good reason. Britney Girl Dale is a breath of fresh air in the increasingly stuffy world of drag.

The film, now showing on YouTube and embedded below, shows Britney Girl Dale and her pal Anthony doing what they do best within their South Baltimore and Anne Arundel County stomping grounds. Britney Girl Dale’s mission is to entertain the masses- whether they want to be entertained or not. Already semi-famous, Britney has appeared on 98 Rock and has already broken YouTube, Twitter, and Facebook, in that order, but this film gives us a glimpse into her daily existence. Filmmaker Dan Bell shows us why Dale transforms himself into Britney, and Bell’s film shows the love, the hate, and the drama that revolves around the daily grind of being Ritchie Highway’s biggest star. The short is absolutely hilarious at times (especially when Anthony chimes in), but it’s not all beeps and hollas out there on the streets. There are also several sobering and sad moments that paint a complex picture of two of Baltimore’s most unique characters.

Ever since Justin Bieber debuted his swoopy platinum blonde hair on his Today Show performance, I’ve been in complete Belieber heaven because I find myself happiest every time the Biebs goes platinum. But I know he likes to change his hair on a Kylie Jenner type level, so inevitably this era of Bieber hair will soon come to an end—and the end is seeming to be much sooner than I thought.
Last night, Justin went off the Instagram rails and posted four selfies in a row, one of which held the unfortunate caption: “Haircut need.”
