It’s coming! May 16th and 17th! The first EVER convention that celebrates “the art of drag, queer culture and self-expression for all”! Think Comic-Con meets BeautyCon meets Hello Kitty Con. It’s RuPaul’s DragCon, and it’s going to be GAYMAYZING!

Says Ru:

“I am thrilled to bring this one-of-a-kind event to Los Angeles. DragCon is not just a showcase for the most talented drag queens in the world. It’s a chance for all lovers of drag culture – young and old, gay and straight – to come together, to inspire each other, and to let their freak flags fly high.”

RuPaul’s DragCon will kick off the Gay Pride season with a fierce new twist. DragCon creators expect several thousand attendees to experience a glittering weekend with the largest ever gathering of drag queens and gay icons. The convention will feature over 100 vendors and exhibitors, panel discussions, screenings, autographs, and photo opportunities.

Spearheaded by RuPaul and World of Wonder, RuPaul’s DragCon will give a platform for fans – gay and straight – to meet and interact with world famous drag queens and other celebrity guests in a fan friendly environment. DragCon will include a wide range of programming:

• “Everything You Wanted to Know about Tucking but Were Afraid to Ask,”
• “Lady MacBeth to Lady Gaga: Drag in the Mainstream”
• “Drag King Makeovers”
• “A Drag Revolution: Stonewall Riots”

I once pitched a reality show about this very problem: What happens when your entire livelihood is wrapped up in a celebrity and that celebrity suddenly falls from grace? Whither the PeeWee Herman lookalikes in 1991? Or the Michael Jacksons, after the molesting allegations? And now THINK ABOUT THE POOR BILL COSBY IMPERSONATORS? What will they do NOW?

New Yorker John Washington says that people always mistake him for Bill Cosby and he used to not mind looking nearly identical to America’s favorite sitcom dad.

“It has been a fun run,” Washington, 77, told The Weekly Mirror. “Cosby was a good man. Everybody loved the Cos. But in the last month, with all the rape allegations against Bill Cosby, my, my, it, well, my life sucks s**t now. It’s unlivable.”

Looking like Cosby used to be a good ice breaker to meet women, Washington says. “That was my favorite part. The pretty chickies just come up to you and kiss you and rub you and I got a lot of… you know, ass. I met my ex-wife because she thought I was Bill Cosby.”

Washington says people now approach him shouting that he’s a rapist and a bad person. He’s been attacked on three occasions, once by a young Puerto Rican woman who pepper sprayed him and then beat him unconscious with her purse, and has even received direct death threats.

Washington says he is now staying inside his apartment until people know he’s not Bill Cosby.

It’s the circle of life: You live, you die, you become a tree. The Capsula Mundi Project has developed an organic, biodegradable burial capsule that will turn the deceased’s body into nutrients for a tree that will grow out of their remains.

After being encapsulated in the fetal position, the deceased is buried and either a tree or tree seed is planted above their capsule. The project’s site already has a number of trees to choose from.

The project is currently only a concept because Italian law forbids such burials. If it were allowed to proceed, however, the project’s aim would be to create entire memorial parks full of trees instead of tombstones. And instead of destroying and burying wood for wooden coffins, we would, at the end of our lives, provide sustenance for new trees instead. And indeed, the idea that our loved ones and descendants could visit our tree, care for it and rest in its shade is truly a comforting one.

Chilling story about a ghostly voice calling to first responders at an accident in Utah. Did a dead mother save her baby from beyond the grave? BOO! Three US cops claim mystery “woman’s voice” called to them to an overturned car in the icy Spanish Fork river. The car was almost completely flooded, except for a baby – still alive beside her dead mother’s body – hanging upside down above the icy water for an incredible 14 HOURS after the crash.

Spanish Fork Police Officers and Firefighters appeared on Anderson Cooper 360 last night to talk about the mysterious story. Watch as Anderson struggles not to say the word “ghost” or speculate about any paranormal explanation for the voice that led them to the crash site. HA!

You might recall fellow CNN reporter Don Lemon caught a lot of flak for theorizing that zombies, aliens, and/or black holes where to blame for the Malaysian Airline disappearance last year. Anderson will be DAMNED if he falls into that same trap. But really, WHAT OTHER EXPLANATION IS THERE?

The mother had been dead for some time, so it’s not like she used her dying breath to call out for help, as some have hypothesized. And there was nobody else near the scene. So, Anderson, go ahead and ask: WAS IT THE DEAD MOTHER PROTECTING HER CHILD?

An LA jury has decided that Robin Thicke ripped off Marvin Gaye‘s ’77 hit Got to Give It Up when he wrote the smash hit Blurred Lines with Pharrell Williams and T.I.. They were ordered to pay the Gaye family $7.3 million as part of the ruling. A spokesperson for Pharrell told Rolling Stone:

“While we respect the judicial process, we are extremely disappointed in the ruling made today, which sets a horrible precedent for music and creativity going forward. Pharrell created Blurred Lines from his heart, mind and soul and the song was not taken from anyone or anywhere else. We are reviewing the decision, considering our options and you will hear more from us soon about this matter.”

The Gayes’ lawyers were seeking $25 million in damages. Thicke and Williams’ lawyer asked the jury:

“Why would Mr. Williams need to copy anyone to create a hit?”

People always ask me how I get my nails to grow so long but even I break a nail once in a while!
When you break one or two nails it forces you to cut the rest off and start growing them all over.

NEVER AGAIN!!!!

I had two nails that broke at the sides of the nail bed, they didn’t completely break off but it’s an annoying crack that gets in the way and makes you want to clip the nail off completely.

But with what I just learned you could even superglue back on a nail that completely broke off and then patch it up for reinforcement.

Last night I patched up both nails and it worked like magic!! It’s a miracle!!

Kim Davinson posted the above photo of the ghost of small child or an evil spirit swimming with her friend and three children in the Lockyer River in Helidon, Queensland. Look closely and you’ll see the tow-headed demonic entity lurking in the background.

“There are only 5 of us in photo,” she says. “I’m holding [the] little girl and that white head next to me with horns is not human I can promise [you] that.”

She also says her daughter’s leg was grabbed multiple times in an attempt to snatch her and drag her to the fiery depths of Hell.

Says The DW:

The image has since generated a lot of buzz online, and some people in the comments have pointed out that it could be the ghost of a young girl who drowned in the same spot in 1915 named Doreen O’Sullivan.

A woman claiming to be the person on the left in white glasses named Jessie Lu thinks there might be even more than one ghost in the picture.

“At the time of taking this photo there was nothing between us,” she says. “The older girl had trouble in the water on two occasions that day. And if u have a closer look at this photo there are quite a few extra faces in the water.”

And amateur sleuths are trying to get to the bottom of this mystery by altering the image in photoshop as many did with the viral dress.

This only led to even more spirit speculation.

In the negative imaging of this picture there is no evidence of shadow, just light. souls are made of energy, conscious energy, it can be dark or light depending on whether the soul has ascended from death or not.

Although we were all desperately looking forward to hearing Bruce Jenner’s upcoming trans confesional, production of the docu-series has been temporarily halted, as Bruce feels pressured by producers and is expressing concern about the state of his family’s acceptance. 

From TMZ:

Bruce told producers 2 weeks ago he felt like they were rushing him and compromising his family by gunning for a May air date.

Bruce has two big issues — he wants to make sure his 3 sons are “in a good place” to handle the radical change he’s undergoing. He realized the cart was driving the horse, and that the show cannot proceed until his kids are psychologically able to handle it.

We’re also told the recent car crash — in which a woman died as an apparent result of his inattentiveness — has had such an emotional impact on him that he needs to deal with it before proceeding with the docuseries.

A source directly connected to the project told us … “There’s a 99.9% chance the docuseries will happen,” but it’s still possible Bruce could pull the plug. As we reported, Bunim/Murray Productions will produce the docuseries.

Sources say there’s almost no doubt it will air, but there’s no way it will happen in May.
