Two Harvard students have created Spray Cake – YES! – cake batter in a whipped cream-style can that can be microwaved in 60 seconds. Unbelievable! What WILL science think of next? “It started as a class project,” says co-inventor John McCallum, “and our group wanted to eat a lot of delicious cake, so that’s where I came up with the idea of Spray Cake.” The ingredients are the same as cake batter in a box, except no baking soda or powder is used because the can produces its own air bubbles, so it doesn’t need it to rise. It tastes the same as regular cake and looks the same as regular cake. WHAT AM I SAYING: It is regular cake! Watch the video below.
