Lady Bunny’s New Year’s Resolution

In keeping with it’s New Year’s resolution, Lardy Bunny hopped up before breakfast this morning and went to straight to the gym for a frenzied workout. The food was so delicious that I’m going back for lunch and dinner. Those desserts! But seriously–it’s funny how you dread something and put it off for so long. Then you actually do it and realize that it wasn’t so bad after all. I actually enjoyed my workout and look forward to my next one in my new year’s, new me, regular fitness regime…one month from now on February 8th. I hope this can inspire you all! Did you know that “fart” is one of the oldest words in the English language? It’s TRUE! It’s also one of the oldest words EVER, stretching back before written language. Before agriculture, even. You can tell because it shows up in languages that haven’t been related in a really long time, like Norse and Sanskrit and Greek.

Did you know there wasn’t an onscreen fart until 1974’s Blazing Saddles, BUT there have been literary farts going back to James Joyce, Dante, Shakespeare, Chaucer, the Arabian Nights – all contain fart jokes.

Did you know that some people can take air INTO their rectum? Le Pétomane was a famous French performer in the 19th century who was able to play the popular songs of the day with his butt. He performed for princes and kings and for Sigmund Freud.

Michelle MorningGood morning sunshine and Michelle’s visage is finally getting quality airtime.  In the diary room, she said she’s interested but cautious of Zelda due to her online persona (Zelda is a vile person who confuses bullying with honest criticism. You all have Google…).

While polishing the cutlery, Michelle read perpetual name dropper Perez Hilton for ignoring her when his fame came in, had a nurturing chat with playboy Calum Best and showed concern for Baywatch star Jeremy Jackson who seems a bit bat shit crazy.

Until the gloves come off, the most exciting thing to happen so far is a glamour girl revealing she has a tattoo on her chuff and someone leaving bright yellow wee in the toilet.

Wait till the tasks begin, that’s when it gets interesting. Usually.

In live face to face nominations. Michelle wore a RuPaul Glamazon t-shirt and nominated soap star Ken “because he wants to go home”.

Biggest Launch Night for Celebrity Big Brother UK

It was the biggest launch night EVER for Celebrity Big Brother UK on social media and our own Michelle Visage was the 3rd most talked about (see photo below). Nine out of ten trending topics in the UK were about #CBB reported web analyst Christian Howes. Michelle had the least negative mentions for the top 3. AND she didn’t do so shabby herself here in the states on the WOW Report taking the #1 post for the day. Amazing! So that means all looking good for our home girl. #OpCharlieHebdo: “Anonymous” Declares War On Jihadists In Retaliation For Paris Massacre

Hacktivist group Anonymous has come out to avenge the attacks on Paris-based magazine Charlie Hebdo in which 12 people were murdered. The Belgian ‘branch’ of Anonymous posted a video message to YouTube describing a new campaign against jihadists, called #OpCharlieHebdo. The video, which features someone wearing the Guy Fawkes mask and speaking with their voice obscured, explains (in French) that its members have decided to “declare war on you, the terrorists” – referring to Al-Qaeda and ISIS specifically.

“We will track you down – every last one – and will kill you. You allowed yourselves to kill innocent people, we will therefore avenge their deaths.” You will not impose your sharia law in our democracies, we will not let your stupidity kill our liberties and our freedom of expression. We have warned you; expect your destruction. We will track you everywhere on the planet, nowhere will you be safe. We are Anonymous. We are legion. We do not forget. We do not forgive. Be afraid of us, Islamic State and Al Qaeda – you will get our vengeance.”

A statement supporting the video has also been released onto the text-sharing website Pastebin, echoing the sentiment, but focuses more squarely on the attack on freedom of speech.

“Freedom of speech and opinion is a non-negotiable thing – to tackle it is to attack democracy. Expect a massive frontal reaction from us because the struggle for the defense of those freedoms is the foundation of our movement.”

Anonymous’s pledge of vengeance follows a spate of cyberattacks on the websites of French towns, which had their homepages replaced by the ISIS flag.

Michelle JeremyOoooh honey, it’s all kicking off in the Celebrity Big Brother house.

Pervy troll soap star Ken received the most votes in face-to-face nominations for being racist and creepily misogynist. Michelle pulled him up on it but his filthy old man routine continued.

Jeremy Jackson mixed his drinks, threw his ring up and proceeded to make an inappropriate pass at glamour girl Chloe while his head was in the toilet.
She went into hysterics, Perez went crazy saying he didn’t feel safe in the house and naturally Michelle was the voice of reason. The house became a hotbed of heated arguments and questioning then Ken asked Michelle if she’d “violently f***” Calum.
She said she’d f*** the shit out of him, if she wasn’t married.

Jeremy has since been evicted for pulling out Chloe’s boob. A reality show probably isn’t the best place to use as rehab babes.

Bill Gates‘ Pacific coast lodge-style house which overlooks Lake Washington in Medina, Washington, known as Xanadu 2.0 is a techno-marvel. Understandably, there aren’t many pics of the inside of the place. Here are a few pics of the house that Microsoft build, along with the amazing stats;

* 66,000 square feet on 500 feet of waterfront
* 7 years to build, the construction costs were $63+ million
* taxes on the house, valued at $147 million, are $1 million per year
* the 2,300 square foot reception hall can seat 150 people for dinner, 200 for cocktails. One wall has a 22 foot-wide video display, with 24, 40″ rear-projection monitors, where among other things anyone can “call up” a fave painting or photograph
* the pool building is 4,000 square feet with a 17-by-60-foot swimming pool that has an underwater music system. Swimmers can dive under a glass wall and emerge outdoors
* only 7 bedrooms but 24 bathrooms and 6 kitchens!
* the roof is made of stainless steel
* the 2,100 square foot library has a domed roof and an oculus
* guests are surveyed and given a special techno-pin to wear connected to the electronic services of the house (music, lighting, climate) and automatically adapts to your tastes
* lights are computer controlled and turn on gradually when someone walks into a room
* 20-seat movie/video theater is outfitted with plush couches and a popcorn machine
* speakers beneath the wallpaper allows the music to follow you from room to room
* hidden hallways throughout the house allow for “invisible” service and maintenance –with undoubtedly high security
* 2,500 square foot gym with sauna, steam room and men’s and women’s locker rooms
* a trampoline room has 20 foot ceilings
* underground garage, hidden under the forest, can accommodate 23 guests cars, there is a sep 4-car garage for the family
* somewhere in the house is da Vinci’s 16th-century notebook, the Codex Leicester, purchased for $30.8 million

The London borough of Kensington and Chelsea has now outlawed the super-sized basement extensions that local billionaires seem to be enamored with. The multi-level underground recreation areas sometimes extend beyond the boundaries of the aboveground properties, have cracked walls and even wrecked the foundations of neighboring mansions. In 2012, excavation work under the mansion of a Goldmann Sachs director resulted in his neighbor getting trapped inside her house, unable to open her front door because it had shifted so much.

Some 'iceberg houses' add underground extension that triple the size of the property, including everything from ballrooms and swimming pool to bowling alleys and vintage car garages.

RIP: Anita Ekberg

Anita Ekberg died today at 83. She came from Sweden to America to enter the Miss Universe pageant and by the mid-1950s, after several modeling jobs, she finally broke into films. She had a small part in the film Blood Alley in 1955 with John Wayne and Lauren Bacall. She appeared alongside the Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis comedy act in Artists and Models the same year and in Hollywood or Bust in 1956. For a while she was publicized as “Paramount’s Marilyn Monroe.” In 1957, she starred in the British drama Interpol with Victor Mature. In 1960 Federico Fellini gave Ekberg her the role of a lifetime in La Dolce Vita where she played the unattainable “dream woman” of of Marcello Mastroianni. Nevertheless as the years passed, the outspoken actress was frequently quoted as saying that it was Fellini who owed his success to HER, not the other way around.

“They would like to keep up the story that Fellini made me famous, Fellini discovered me.”

Ekberg did not live in Sweden after the early 50s and later in life said she would not move back to Sweden before her death since she would be buried there. RIP one of THE great beauties of film.

After last night’s ding dong, the show started with Michelle in the diary room (sporting a lovely star jumper) giving a reasoned summary on Ken’s vulgar behaviour.

In a Fairytale task, Ken & Michelle had to guess which celebrity matched the tabloid facts like “Caught bonking a married man in a field” (Zelda) and “Had three hair transplants” (Calum). Perez killed the mood by wiggling his self righteous finger at Zelda about her shagging activities and then cried when everyone told him to shut up. Without a computer to hide behind, it’s interesting to see what a transparent whiny spoilt brat he is.

For wining the task, house-mates were treated to cocktails which resulted in a conga. Ooh I do love a conga.
The Perez Show returned (sucking all the energy, screeching in the middle of the room) so Michelle retreated to the bedroom saying “not even my children do that”.  Quite.
