LA-based Mac Sabbath is a heavy metal group made up of four rockers who dress up as McDonald’s characters – Ronald Osborne, Grimace, the Hamburglar, and Slayor McCheese – and perform Black Sabbath songs with burger-themed lyrics at secret shows in undisclosed locations. According to the band’s Facebook page, they are ‘not a joke page to sell T-shirts’. Instead, they describe themselves as “Ronald Osbourne and the whole gang in full regalia playing all their hits like ‘Sweet Beef’ and ‘Chicken for the Slaves’ in a multi-media show with video, theatrics, audience participation and sing alongs.”

Their first ever live performance took place in July last year, and according to people who attended the event, it was pretty amazing. “Hamburglar came out first, tossing hamburgers at the audience as he took his place behind the drum kit,” wrote Jake Manson on the website ‘Weirdest Band in the World’. “Then came the guitar player Slayer McCheese, horns protruding from his cheeseburger mouth like he just ate a whole steer. Then came Grimace, and of course he plays the bass. Ronald came out sporting red and yellow fringed sleeves and took up the position behind a mic stand shaped like a giant milkshake straw.”

“The band launched into ‘Sweet Beef’ and the rewritten Sabbath songs just got more ridiculous from there: ‘Frying Pan’ instead of ‘Iron Man’, ‘Pair-a-buns’ instead of ‘Paranoid’, you get the idea,” Manson wrote. “The highlight came when Ronald reached into his takeout bag, pulled out a hamburger with bat wings, and took a massive bite out of it. Or maybe the highlight was when he started using a giant straw to sneak slurps of audience members’ drinks.”

Mac Sabbath has received great reviews for their music and funny performances on stage; in fact, they were even given a shoutout by Black Sabbath themselves!

While the shrinking, and insect-controlling, hero of Marvel’s Ant-Man (out. July 17) may not be as famous as The Hulk or Thor, he made his comics debut way back in 1962 and a year later co-founded The Avengers with those two aforementioned gents. Back in 2001, the movie’s original director, Edgar Wright (Shaun of the Dead), and fellow Brit Joe Cornish first wrote a treatment for an Ant-Man movie, which means the project long predates the hugely successful Marvel movie universe ushered in by 2008’s Iron Man. Wright remained enthusiastic about the project down the years, telling EW in 2013, “I’d rather do the film with 2015 effects rather than 2005 effects. So it’s all good.” Then, it wasn’t. In May of 2014, Wright unexpectedly exited the project, prompting a blood pressure-raising search by Marvel for a new director which ultimately led them to Bring It On filmmaker Peyton Reed.

The full-length trailer is premiering tonight on Agent Carter. Which I’m assuming none of us are watching, so I’ll post tomorrow.

Picture it: It was my last day in New York. We had scheduled three ultra time-consuming Transformations, back-to-back. Darrell Thorne was the last. He arrived just as I had finished my fifth Silkwood shower, scraping off the remnants of previous Transformation guest Ryan Burke’s crimson-face tutorial (red pigmented makeup DOES NOT COME OFF EASILY). I was tired, sore, a little grumpy. But I took one look at that sweet little face and melted. you would too. He’s a DELIGHT. Check out the amazing Shiva-esque makeover he did on me, below.

Brandi Glanville threw a glass of wine at Jeff Lewis, broke down in tears and then turned her chair around on Watch What Happens Live tonight.  This moment can only be described as PAINFUL and AMAZING TV!

But seriously, this takes the cake for most awkward moment in the history of live TV, or the universe.

After Jeff Lewis asked if he could get an STD from Brandi running her hands through his hair, she said “you better check your F–Self!” before a commercial break. And then…

Throughout all of Watch What Happens Live‘s second segment, things seemed to go well. There was games, and gifts, and lots of laughs. But when the group returned from commercial, Brandi Glanville interrupted to tell Jeff Lewis something.

“I have something to say about the whole ‘Can you get an STD by putting my hands through the hair’ thing,” she said. “Well, as long as you wet it, I think you’ll be fine.”

That line came with a glass of wine — thrown right in Lewis’ face.

“Now, no more STDs,” Glanville said. “Alcohol kills everything.”

(Ironically, this wasn’t the first time Glanville threw wine on Bravo Tuesday night. On RHOBH, Glanville threw a glass of wine in housewife Eileen Davidson’s face. But that’s neither here nor there right now).

Everyone in the clubhouse was shocked, especially Lewis, who was on the verge of one of his legendary flip-outs. “I can’t believe I defended you,” he said to Brandi. “And I can’t believe I cared about you,” she responded.

Viewers then got to hear what had happened during the break.

“I really can’t talk about this right now because I am so upset,” Glanville said. “I don’t want to cry right now. [During the commercial] I told him that wasn’t cool, and he said ‘I was joking’ and I said that you don’t say that to somebody.”

“I’m really sorry,” Lewis said. “I was joking.”

“Don’t f**king touch me,” Glanville responded, turning her chair and crying. “I’m taking five.”

After what felt like 10 minutes of tears, Glanville pulled it together and returned to finish out the last minutes of the show. Which were REALLY uncomfortable.

Glanville went on to mention that she has written about her history with STDs in her two books. “Youknow,” she told Jeff, breaking down crying.

The device, created by the people behind the social network On, works by mounting a smartphone to the end of an adjustable and extendable rod with a Bluetooth camera button on the end. Writer and performer Marcus Reeves presents “Transatlantic Tea Party with Meth.”

Building on the success of his popular interview series Behind the Mask, Marcus will be stepping behind the camera to direct and produce the show, hosted by Meth, star of “Drag Queens of London” and her own successful club night The Meth Lab. The show will feature the most popular queens from RuPaul’s Drag Race having tea and spilling the ‘T’ on their life and work since being on the international hit show.

Marcus says: “‘Transatlantic Tea Party’ will be a cross between Drag Race and Downton Abbey – high tea with some of our favorite queens, but with Meth in charge, nothing will be sacred and no topics off limits! Our first interview will be with the large and in charge, chunky yet funky Latrice Royale.’

That means future generations can feel the oppressive horror of attempting to fight their way across the Oregon Trail on a steady diet of squirrel meat with only an axe, some rope and frequent bouts of dysentery, pausing in their manifest destiny only long enough to etch grandma’s epitaph on a makeshift tombstone on the side of trail. Fun, right?

Of course, Oregon Trail isn’t the only game available. There’s also Duke Nukem, Street Fighter, Burger Blaster, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, The Lion King and Chuck Yeager’s Advanced Flight Trainer and more than 2,393 other MS-DOS based game titles ready to play in an immersive and engaging lesson in interactive internet preservation.

The online arcade is a “software crate-digger’s dream: Tens of thousands of playable software titles from multiple computer platforms, allowing instant access to decades of computer history in your browser,” the archive wrote. And they definitely want people to play the games, but be prepared to offer feedback. According to a post announcing the new resource, the site’s software curator Jason Scott wants people to reach out and report bugs as they play. “Some of [the games] will still fall over and die, and many of them might be weird to play in a browser window, and of course you can’t really save things off for later, and that will limit things too. But on the whole, you will experience some analogue of the MS-DOS program, in your browser, instantly,” Scott wrote.

So start playing, but prepare for dysentery.

I’d toot this.

There’s been a spot of how-babies-are-made ignorance from a soap star, the usual bed bun fight (Michelle has her own), Alexander O’Neil did Showgirls flash hands and Zelda had to choose the two least interesting house mates who are up for nomination to be evicted.
Michelle took off her drag and got comfy in PJs and Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender Pride t-shirt (hey girl hey!)

She hasn’t had much screen time thus far but that’ll change once she gets a chance to flourish. Social media is all a flutter with her  name so let the Celebrity Big Brother producers know you want to see more of her!

Bravo Media released a national study conducted by Research Now to determine if the risk of dating a best friend is worth the reward of finding love. In a world of “catfishing” and dating swipe errors, 75% of people have pursued a romantic or sexual relationship with a friend. Over 1,000 people between the ages of 18-54 were polled, and results prove that of the 76% who took the leap of faith to find love with their friend, 29% of those relationships resulted in marriage. However, only 51% got their buddy back if the relationship didn’t work out. The survey coincides with the launch of Bravo’s new social experiment docu-series, Friends To Lovers? premiering on Monday, January 12 at 10 PM ET/PT.

Are Men or Women The Risk Takers?
Beginning a relationship with a friend is a risky proposition, and unrequited love for a friend is quite common. It can be life-shattering when feelings aren’t reciprocated, so who is the risk taker?

· 76% of men are open to a romantic or a sexual relationship with someone they consider a friend (vs. 58% of women)
· 82% of both men and women believe the best relationships begin platonically, not romantically
· 19% of people are very averse and rather date their first cousin than their best friend (this is consistent among men and women)
· Men are twice as likely as women to be attracted to someone who is just a platonic friend
· 73% of men have had sexual fantasies about a friend (vs. 51% of women)
· 54% of all men admitted they’ve fallen in love with a friend without them ever knowing
· 50% of all men regret never telling their friend about the romantic feelings they’ve had for them (vs. 30% of women)
· Some men think outside their sexual preference as 27% of straight men with a best friend of the same gender have wished they were gay so they could date

Complications
Dating a bestie may mean changing a relationship status from “single” to “taken,” but more times than not, it shifts along the way to “it’s complicated.” Does “friends with benefits” really exist? Results prove love and sex among friends is possible, but for those who fail, the person they relied on for everything may quickly become a hated ex of the past, while causing complications among mutual friends.

· 54% of men say they would hook up with a friend if they knew no strings were attached (vs. 22% of women)
· 60% of women think sex ruins a friendship (vs. 51% of men)
· 42% of women rather be celibate for the rest of their lives than have sex with their best friend (vs. 25% of men)
· 45% of people who have been in a “friends turned lovers” relationship found sex with their buddy to be more awkward
· 65% of adults have seen friendships destroyed by trying to date
· 60% of adults have seen full groups of friends fall apart because two friends-turned-lovers ended sourly
· 47% have had mutual friends become jealous when they found out about their two friend’s new-found relationship, and 38% thought it was a bad idea

The Back-Up Plan
Hollywood classics across the Romantic Comedy genre all attempt to propose a solution to the same age-old question – should we establish a back-up plan for love?

· 62% of people would start dating a friend if they are not married by a specific age
· 57% of people would consider marrying their best friend if they are not married by a specific age
· 36% of adults confirmed they would have an agreement to marry a friend if neither has found a partner by a designated age

Designer Anouk Wipprecht has created a dress with “insect-like robotic limbs which react to the proximity of others.” Finally! Cybernetic couture for fashionistas with personal space issues!

Aptly called the ‘Spider Dress’, this piece of wearable tech features animatronic mechanical limbs that respond to external stimuli while defend the personal space of the wearer. The dress provides an extension of the wearers intuition: It uses proximity sensors as well as a respiration sensor to both define and protecting the personal space of the wearer. Approach the wearer to aggressively and the mechanical limbs move up to an attack position. Approach the system under calmer circumstance and the dress just might beckon you to come closer with smooth, suggestive gestures.

3-D printed sensor based animatronic/mechatronic dress enabled by the Intel Edison acts as the interface between the body and the external world using technology and the garment as a medium of interaction. Testing-phase. The design will be showcased during CES alongside the Synapse dress for Intel, January 6-9th in Las Vegas, soon more…
