She’s playing a transgender teenager in the upcoming movie Three Generations, also starring Susan Sarandon and Naomi Watts. Filming began in November, yet it has already drawn some criticism for casting Elle rather than a transgender actor, according to The Advocate. But then that’s why it’s called acting, now, isn’t it? You don’t actually have to be a superhero to play one, or a boat captain or a lion tamer or a 19th century dance hall girl, so why should you have to be trans to play trans? *throws hands in air* I think s/he looks fab. Supermodel Janice Dickinson has accused Bill Cosby of sexually assaulting her. In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Dickinson claims that in 1982, Cosby invited her Lake Tahoe to discuss a job offer and to give her advice on her singing career. She says that after arriving, they had dinner, and when they returned to her room, Cosby gave her “wine and a pill.”
“The next morning I woke up and I wasn’t wearing my pajamas,” she said. “And I remember before I passed out that I had been sexually assaulted by this man.”

Janice is the third woman to come forward since comedian Hannibal Burrell called Cosby a rapist during a stand-up routine in Philadelphia last month. (via New York Daily News)

Last month, I taped six episodes of Transformations (in three days!) while I was in New York on other business. This first episode features designer and nightlife habituée Domonique Echeverria, who I think you’ll agree is an absolute force of nature. Although I had never met her, I’ve followed her on Instagram forever, in part because I find her club persona so compelling. Her look combines religious iconography, Weimer-era showgirl excess, and, um, Frieda Kahlo? You’ll have to see the final look to understand what I mean, but WOW. What an episode.

Bill Cosby’s comedy for NBC was canceled after new allegations of rape were made against the comedian, most recently from Janice Dickinson. Netflix made a similar move by canning the Cosby comedy special that was to premiere the week of Thanksgiving. Looks like Bill Cosby is out of a job, not that he as really had one to mention since the 1980s anyway!
Cosby, 77, has not publicly addressed the claims against him, which have now been made publicly by at least six women. In an NPR interview that aired over the weekend, Cosby refused to discuss the allegations.
Marty Singer, Cosby’s attorney, has said the comedian did nothing wrong. Responding to former model Janice Dickinson’s claim that Cosby drugged and sexually assaulted her, Singer called the story an “outrageous defamatory lie.” In a letter to website The Wrap, Singer said the version of events Dickinson relayed this week doesn’t match what she wrote about the encounter in a memoir.
Dickinson spoke to Entertainment Weekly several days after former actress Barbara Bowman wrote in last Friday’s Washington Post, “Cosby had drugged and raped me, too.”
As NPR’s Eric Deggans wrote this week, “several recent events, including the 30th anniversary of The Cosby Show and the publication of the biography, have pushed media to reconsider Cosby’s legacy.”

Country singer Ty Herndon realized he HAD to tell his story. He said to People on Tuesday;
“During an Anthony Robbins seminar, I realized I had an incredible story that could possibly help someone’s son or daughter or grandchild’s life not be as difficult as mine has been. Maybe they wouldn’t have to go through as much pain and suffering. It’s time to tell my truth.”
And that truth was;
“I’m an out, proud and happy gay man.”
Although getting to this point was years in the making for the 51-year-old singer. He first wondered if he was gay when he was around 10. He began coming out to close family members, thirty + years ago at age 20.
“My mother probably knew I was gay before I did. I remember sitting down with her and having the conversation… she was more concerned about me having a happy life. You have to be able to do that in your own skin, and [my family] has seen me struggle with being gay my whole career.”
