The Sun has exclusive footage of the soon-to-be solo star whose debut single, “Sign of the Times,” drops FRIDAY April 7th, omgomgomg.

The video, filmed in a secret location on the Scottish shore earlier this week, has Harry making a dramatic entrance dangling from a helicopter wearing Gucci and Burberry.

Says The Sun:

We can reveal the meticulously planned debut of the single at 8am on Friday will kick off an Adele-style campaign to establish Harry as the world’s biggest male star.

The superfan of David Bowie, Mick Jagger and Paul McCartney wants to be taken seriously as a songwriter and musician – and will distance himself from the teen pop direction of his former band.

A source close to the star tells me: “Harry isn’t a typical popstar. This is an art rock project – and he wants to let the music do the talking.”

Harry has spent months secretly ensuring that the music has a timeless quality reminiscent of Bowie and Prince at their peaks in the 70s and 80s.

When the news broke last September that Raven Symoné would be leaving The View to reprise her iconic role as Raven Baxter – teen by day, clairvoyant by well, life – and executive produce a spinoff  ‘Raven’s Home,’ we were through the roof. And with the show being officially green lit and production beginning in April, the remaining cast members have been announced (namely, Raven’s kids with psychic tendencies) and we’re excited.

Issac Brown of black-ish and Navia Robinson from Being Mary Jane will star as Raven’s 11-year-old twins Booker and Nia. Jason Maybaum (Superstore) will play Chelsea’s 9-year-old son Levi. Sky Katz (America’s Got Talent) will play Nia’s best friend Tess.

Anneliese van der Pol (Chelsea) will reprise her role as Raven’s life-long BFF.

The series finds the two friends as divorced single mothers raising their families in the same chaotic household. Things get even crazier when one of Raven’s kids starts showing signs they’ve inherited her ability to see glimpses on the future.

In almost every horror movie since the beginning of time, we’ve encountered the Mean Girl. She’s bitchy, she’s petty, and now, she’s evolving to become the sole survivor!

SUZANNE – NIGHT OF THE DEMONS (1988)

Portrayed by: Linnea Quigley

Status: Death by Possession and Lipstick

We first encounter Suzanne while she distracts convenience store cashiers with her….assets. We don’t get enough time with Suzanne before she becomes the first to be possessed by a demon and sticks her lipstick through her nipple. The last time we see her, she seduces the Final Girl’s horny crush and devours him shortly after. Oh Suzanne, I cherished you on screen and had such high hopes for your character!

ALLY BURGESS – SLEEPAWAY CAMP 2 (1988)

Portrayed by: Valerie Hartman

Status: Death by Porter Potty filled with Feces and Leeches 

Ally Burgess graced the…campy, Sleepaway Camp 2. We first see her insulting serial killer Angela Baker and instantly know she’s our resident mean girl. She sleeps her way through camp, is cruel to everyone she encounters, and single handily is the reason that those before her bite the dust. In Ally’s final scene, she is drowned and covered in feces and leeches. Angela famously tells her, “You should have been the first to go.” Thankfully, she wasn’t. Without Ally, there’s seemingly no one to root for…besides Angela!

TATUM RILEY – SCREAM (1996)

Portrayed by: Rose McGowan

Status: Death by Garage Door and Stupidity

I believe Tatum Riley is where the Mean Girl stereotype finally evolved into also being the Best Friend. Tatum was abrasive, but she also had you root for her and not against her. In her last moments of grabbing beers for her friends, she’s wedged between a hard place and a doggy door. Her scene is frustrating because Tatum gives no inkling to having a weak mind throughout her story. However, it is because of her that the Mean Girl eventually began to become a character with purpose opposed to another number on the body count.

PAIGE PRESCOTT – VALENTINE (2001)

Portrayed by: Denise Richards

Status: Death by Hot Tub and a Power Drill

Paige Prescott is the only character on this list that receives more screen time than the film’s Final Girl. She oozes sex, mystery, and makes you want to grow up to be her. She’s the only one in her group of friends not necessarily pressed on finding a Valentine. If all of her friends had trusted her suggestion of the killer rather than laughing it off, they would’ve gotten out alive. We last see Paige ignoring a party full of potential suitors to enjoy time alone, as we all would prefer in our best friend’s mansion. The scene comes with the infamous final rose and a few blows to her body via a power drill. You were right, Paige! You should’ve made it!

JESSICA PIERSON – SORORITY ROW (2009)

Portrayed by: Leah Pipes

Status: Death by Axe and Stupid Friends 

This is one horror film death that I just haven’t gotten over yet. Jessica Pierson made only good decisions! Well, besides killing someone, but that was completely on accident. It’s after murdering her friend that she does everything right. Seriously, Jessica was just a few movies away from having the New Final Girl written all over her! She wanted to run away at every turn, didn’t want to investigate, and even tried to reason with the killer to get out alive. If it wasn’t for Jessica following her sorority sister’s around a burning home, she easily could’ve gotten out all on her own and ended the film with another sassy one-liner.

AMBER – KILL THEORY (2009)

Portrayed by: Ryanne Duzich

Status: Alive 

Without question, Amber is my favorite example of the evolving Mean Girl and arguably my favorite horror character ever to grace the screen. She starts off as the obvious first boot. She’s rude, drunk, and flirts with everyone’s boyfriend, including her own. Hell, she even brings handcuffs and is the only character to successfully get laid… and take Valium. That doesn’t stop her from annihilating her frenemies one by one in this “cabin by the woods” horror film turned into a battle royale. She gets revenge and also ends up finding peace with her one true love: her friend’s fiancee. Amber comes out on top as the sole survivor in kill theory. I’d kill for a sequel to see her continue this mean girl trend!

BEVERLY SUTPHIN – SERIAL MOM (1994)

Portrayed by: Kathleen Turner

Status: Alive

Mean Girls don’t always come in the form of a young woman. Beverly Sutphin contains all of the essential mean girl qualities: sinister, attractive, and ruthless in her efforts… but she’s fighting for the greater good! Rather than being into senseless sex, drugs, and cruel language, she fatally opposes it. She goes above and beyond, even murdering a woman based on her outfit choices…after Labor Day, as she’d defend. Beverly is the classic Mean Girl who takes it a step further and evolves herself into the monster. Bless her heart! Who else wouldn’t kill for Ricki Lake?!

And remember, the Mean Girls tend to give the best advice…

The Life & Loves of a She-Devil author Fay Weldon has really put her foot in it this time.

The 85-year-old was being interviewed by BBC Newsnight when she said that she believed some transgender people wanted to be female because it’s easier to be a woman in modern society.

“There are lots of sort of transgender people for whom this is a really serious business, but there is also a sort of undertow of frivolous people who for the sake of fashion or the clothes or whatever want to be the other gender,” she said.

“I’m not offending transgender people or thinking there’s anything wrong with that,” she added.

“The women who want to be men have a really hard time for them I think”.

Weldon deals with the subject in her new book, Death of a She Devil in which one character is trans.

Weldon told The Guardian she felt compelled to write the novel when “Germaine [Greer] got into trouble, as everyone does these days, for saying that just to get one’s genitals chopped off doesn’t make you a woman”.

In one section she writes: “Man now controls the best weapon woman ever had – the body he so envied, its very moods and subtleties. He can become her.”

Weldon, who has identified as a feminist, also took aim at the direction of the women’s movement, which she said had not lived up to her expectations.

”I don’t see men as the enemy any more. I tend to see women as rather the oppressive force”, she said.

Fay is the author of more than 40 novels, none of which you should ever read.

Donnie Jr was speaking at a gun club in Hicksville, NY – (sooooo many eyerolls here ALREADY)–  when he was asked about his political ambitions. No big surprise, he said he would love to follow his father into office.

One of the attendees told Page Six,

“Don Jr. said he is interested in running for office, such as governor of New York, but the position of mayor of New York would be less interesting to him.”

Don Jr. added that he didn’t want to be one of 100 Senators, nor a member of Congress.

Campaigning alongside his father made him think about his future, with him saying, “Do I want to be behind the scenes and be a mouthpiece and fight back against crazy liberal media? Maybe.” Don Jr. joked that he missed the intensity of the presidential campaign: “Going back to doing deals is boring after 18 months. The politics bug bit me.”

I have a feeling this is already a done deal, with Republicans envisioning another win for President Trump in 2020, an eight year Mike Pence presidency starting in 2024, a President Jared Kushner in 2032, and then President Don Jr and Vice President Ivanka in 2040.

God help us all.

Before there was Bianca Del Rio, there was Don Rickles, the “takedown king” whose nearly ubiquitous reign over stage and television lasted 60+ years and earned him the sarcastic nickname “Mr Warmth.”

For those of us “of a certain age” – we grew up watching Rickles on EVERY television show EVER: Twilight Zone, The Munsters, the Addams Family, Dick Van Dyke, The Beverly Hillbillies, Gilligan’s Island, Gomer Pyle, Andy Griffith, F Troop, The Lucy Show, Laugh In, I spy, I Dream of Jeannie, Get Smart, Sanford & son, Archie Bunker’s Place, Gimme a Break! Tales from the Crypt, Hollywood Squares…

…and if NONE of those ring any bells for milllenials, well, he was ALSO the voice of Mr Potatohead in the Toy Story movies.

Rickles honed his reputation in numerous appearances on The Dean Martin Celebrity Roasts that ran on NBC from the mid-1970s to the mid-80s. The specials provided a perfect venue for Rickles to unleash his caustic brand of humor on such visiting dignitaries as Sinatra, Reagan, Bob Hope, Lucille Ball, Kirk Douglas, Sammy Davis Jr. and Mr. T.

Johnny Carson provided Rickles a late-night stage by making him one of The Tonight Show’s most-frequent guests. On one memorable moment in 1968, Rickles cozied up to a half-naked Carson during a sketch with two Japanese female masseuses and said, “I’m so lonely, Johnny!” Carson threw him in a bathtub. More recently, he was a regular guest on Late Show With David Letterman, in which the CBS host treated Rickles like royalty.

Rickles intermittently played in movies, playing opposite beach bunny Annette Funicello in such movies as Pajama Party (1964) and Beach Blanket Bingo (1965), appeared as a Vegas slime-ball in Martin Scorsese’s Casino (1975) and voiced the cranky Mr. Potato Head in the Toy Story films.

He was still regularly working and had a recent gig touring with Regis Philbin.

Donald Jay Rickles was born in the New York borough of Queens on May 8, 1926. Following high school, he served in the U.S. Navy during World War II, then studied acting and graduated from the American Academy of Dramatic Arts.

At age 32, Rickles landed a small part in Robert Wise’s submarine drama Run Silent, Run Deep (1958), starring Clark Gable. Two years later, he was cast in The Rat Race with Tony Curtis and Debbie Reynolds.

Not surprisingly, Rickles found there weren’t many leading roles for a paunchy 5-foot-6 balding man. So, he worked up a nightclub act. After his Sinatra encounter, he perfected his bite and would land gigs in all the Vegas hotels: the Riviera, the Golden Nugget, the Desert Inn and the Sahara.

Flush with his casino successes, Rickles cut two best-selling comedy albums in the ’60s: Hello, Dummy! and Don Rickles Speaks.

Success as a star of his own TV series eluded him. He played Naval Petty Officer Otto Sharkey in NBC’s CPO Sharkey, which ran from 1976-78, and a used car salesman and father of Richard Lewis in Daddy Dearest, quickly canceled by Fox in 1993. He had two series titled The Don Rickles Show; each ran a handful of episodes. For one season in the ’80s, he hosted ABC’s Foul-Ups, Bleeps & Blunders with singer Steve Lawrence.

In 1965, Rickles married Barbara Sklar, who survives him. The couple, who often vacationed with deadpan comic Bob Newhart and his wife, Virginia, had two children, Mindy and Larry. His son, who produced the HBO documentary Mr. Warmth: The Don Rickles Project, died in December 2011 at age 41.

Other survivors include his son-in-law Ed and grandchildren Ethan and Harrison. Funeral services will be private. Donations cane be made to the Larry Rickles Endowment Fund at Children’s Hospital LA.

He recently signed with Wilhelmina Models, the same agency that counts Nicki Minaj, Shawn Mendes, Demi Lovato, and Nick Jonas as clients.

“In a time when too many are using our differences to divide us, I want to help lift our differences up as what make us magnificent, what make us powerful,” said Black. “Fashion has the potential to help our individuality roar, and right now, we must use every tool in our arsenal to amplify that roar.”

RDR season 7 legend, Ginger Minj, gave everyone a bit of a fright Saturday night when she collapsed backstage at the end of the Haters Roast tour in Dallas.

“I suffered some internal bleeding while in Dallas last weekend and passed out after the show,” she explained, “so Acid Betty and Phi Phi O’Hara packed my bags, got me out of drag and into boy clothes. By the time I realized what was going on we were in an Uber headed for the emergency room!”

Thank goodness for Phi Phi and Betty!

“They sat and literally held my hand the entire time. After watching a team of doctors perform every test known to mankind, they both have plenty of compromising pictures and funny stories to blackmail me for a lifetime.”

Ginger is still waiting for more test results, but says she isn’t letting her health scare slow her down. She left the hospital and immediately got on a plane for the next show, in D.C. In between legs of the Haters Roast, she’s also squeezing in a few shows with Katya in the U.K. But she’s checking in with doctors in any free moment she has.

ArtNews just described Glenn O’Brien as “the dapper, instantly recognizable art world fixture” “who shaped the cultural identity of 1980s New York” – high praise, indeed, and a fitting tribute to the writer/editor/Warhol associate/and early cable icon. Over the past four decades, O’Brien edited and/or contributed to Rolling Stone, Oui, High Times, Allure, Esquire, and The New Yorker, among others. He wrote long-running, influential columns on music (“Glenn O’Brien’s BEAT”) for Interview, on advertising (“Like Art”) for Artforum, and men’s fashion (“The Style Guy”) for Details and GQ.

Alongside co-editor Bob Colacello, in fact, he helped found Interview magazine in the early 1970s, when Andy Warhol was still publishing the magazine out of the Factory.

But it was his public access television show TV party which cemented his status as a downtown legend.

In the 1980s, O’Brien effectively channeled the Factory for the Mudd Club crew with his public-access television show TV Party, a blend of live music, half-coherent interviews, zany skits, and idiosyncratic debauchery.

“Instead of everybody going to a club, they would show up at this TV studio,” said Chris Stein, the Blondie guitarist who cofounded the show, in 2015. TV Party was broadcast live on Tuesday mornings at 12:30 a.m. from 1978 to 1982 in a small studio anyone could rent for $60 an hour to air their own public-access programming.

“The show ran on Channel D and Channel J, and was quite popular with the kids,” O’Brien said in 2014. “We lucked into following the Robin Byrd Show for a while, and so inherited an audience of horny guys. We also got a big high school following thanks to smoking a bunch of pot and talking shit.”

One episode opens with O’Brien rolling a joint with virtuosic skill while blindfolded. Later on, the fashion photographer Steven Meisel gives a makeover to a girl he met in a nearby bar before the musician Fab Five Freddie starts taking phone calls from viewers. Guests over the years included the artists Jean-Michel Basquiat, Chris Burden, and Robert Mapplethorpe, and the musicians David Byrne, Mick Jones, and Iggy Pop. Debbie Harry once stopped by to bounce around on a pogo stick.

Glenn O’Brien had been battling a serous illness for many years, when he died this morning. He was 70 years old.

Kirsten Dunst is making the rounds to promote her upcoming (fourth collaboration!) Sofia Coppola-directed film ‘The Beguiled’ with Colin Farrell. Besides sharing her disdain for filming sex scenes at SXSW, she revealed that she got super close with Dakota’s younger sis, Elle Fanning while shooting the film. Besides taking Bey-inspired photoshoots in between takes, or going out for jazz and dinners, Dunst revealed that the two had sleepovers. Isn’t that the cutest thing ever?!

A feral young girl – naked and emaciated – was discovered in the Katarniaghat forest range in northern India, living with a troop of monkeys who had apparently been raising her as one of their own.

When authorities approached her, she began screeching and the nearby monkeys surrounded her to protect her.

“They said the girl was naked and was very comfortable in the company of monkeys. When they tried to rescue the girl, they were chased away by the monkeys,” police officer Dinesh Tripathi told the Associated Press.

She has since been taken to a hospital in Bahraich, a town in Uttar Pradesh state in northern India, where she has been receiving medical treatment.

“Based on her behavioral patterns, it’s possible she could have lived with the monkeys since she was an infant,” Bahraich police officer Dinesh Tripathi told The New Indian Express. (They believe she is now between 10 and 12 years old.)

Her behaviors are erratic and include running around on her arms and legs and eating food off the floor with her mouth, D.K. Singh, chief medical superintendent of the government-run hospital, told the AP.

Now, doctors are tasked with teaching her how to transition to life as a human, a task that initially proved difficult because of her aversion to human interaction.

“She behaves like an ape and screams loudly if doctors try to reach out to her,” Singh told the New Indian Express. Another doctor treating her said the girl struggles to understand anything, and makes apelike noises and facial expressions.

But over the past two months, the girl’s health and behavior have improved significantly, doctors say. She has begun to walk normally by herself and eat food with her own hands. She is still unable to speak, and has begun to use gestures to communicate. Occasionally, she smiles, according to a hospital spokesman, Sky News reported.

Police are trying to determine who her parents are and how she got into the forest.

Anthropologist Mary-Ann Ochota — who has investigated three cases of feral children in Uganda, the Ukraine and Fiji — says these kids are “often a source of shame and secrecy within a family or community,” according to the Washington Post.

“These aren’t Jungle Book stories, they’re often harrowing cases of neglect and abuse,” Ochota wrote on her website. “And it’s all too likely because of a tragic combination of addiction, domestic violence and poverty. These are kids who fell through the cracks, who were forgotten, or ignored, or hidden.”

In the meantime, she will be sent to a home for juveniles until she is identified.

Just after wrapping Menendez: Blood Brothers in Vancouver, Fenton took a mini-vacay with his family to the Big Apple and hit the Great White Way. They managed to get tickets to a preview of Hello, Dolly! with Bette Midler – and the Divine Miss M did not disappoint. You know it’s the hottest ticket in town when one woman won’t give up her ticket, even after she was run over in front of the theater! Hello, Dolly! opens April 20.

7) RIP Gilbert Baker – Creator of the Rainbow Flag

We said goodbye to one of our brothers this week with the passing of “the gay Betsy Ross” Gilbert Baker who created the rainbow flag for gay pride in 1978 at the request of his friend Harvey Milk. Gilbert passed away at his home in New York City. He was 65.

We LOVE Koko the Gorilla! This PBS documentary “features footage from four decades and examines both the relationship between American animal psychologist Penny Patterson and gorilla Koko, as well as the evolution of scientific methods.” Stream Koko the Gorilla Who Talks on Netflix.

5) Groundhog Day the Musical on Broadway

Groundhog Day the Musical – based on the 1993 movie starring Bill Murray & Andie MacDowell – is in previews on Broadway right now, and Fenton got tickets to see it as well! He gives his thoughts on the show, and luckily no one was ran over this time. Groundhog Day the Musical opens April 17.

4) The Boss Baby

This animated movie goes way deeper than you would think, and it’s not because of the Trump comparisons. The Boss Baby starring the voices of Alec Baldwin & Tobey Maguire was the number one movie in the country last week and is in theaters everywhere.

3) James St. James’ Technology Beat

New this week in the world of technology – SpaceX’s previously used space rocket which will save us MILLIONS in space travel. Also smart phones are on their way out and you’re NOT GOING TO BELIEVE what is coming next. Finally, Douglas Coupland – the godfather of Generation X – says that the 9-to-5 way of life is barbaric and we’ll soon be only working a couple of hours a day.

2) Sunset Boulevard on Broadway

Finally, Fenton saw the Broadway revival of Sunset Boulevard starring Glenn Close reprising her role of Norma Desmond twenty something years later, but is the musical as good as the movie?

Could it possible be true?

Could beloved fitness guru Richard Simmons be coming out of his three-year self-imposed exile sometime soon?

It’s been over three looooong years since he stopped teaching his daily group exercise class and all but vanished from the world. Since then, there have been whispers that he’s been taken hostage by his housekeeper Teresa Reveles… and possibly the victim of her black magic.

But now comes news from Simmons’ manager Michael Catalano that the fitness guru had just signed a lucrative deal with Prominent Brand + Talent. This new deal gives Prominent the rights to represent Richard Simmons for licensing, merchandising and endorsement opportunities around the globe.

Does that mean he’s going to join the land of the living again?

‘All I can say, at least for now, is it is possible,’ Catalano said in an interview with The New York Times about Simmons leaving his home after holing up inside the residence for the past 38 months.

‘But it is yet to be determined, I would say.’

It would certainly help in the selling of his products.

‘Richard Simmons is a beloved American icon and a proven retail brand,’ Dan Levin, a managing member of Prominent, told License Global.

‘Everything he stands for has been the gold standard in health and wellness. He has paved the way for every subsequent fitness personality in this country, yet none of them have matched the impact of Richard’s indelible imprint on America’s psyche.’

He later stated that the company ‘plans to launch a global line of thoughtful motivation and inspiration-based products that will achieve the tenets Richard has always espoused – love yourself no matter what you weigh, make time to do good for others and laugh a little.’
