Disgusting, Deviant, and Thoroughly Distasteful: Those Are Just Some of the Words to Describe “The Greasy Strangler” (So Obviously You Need to See it!)

It’s finally here! The Greasy Strangler opens today! The pitch black comedy – about “a lard-covered maniac who is killing people, for some reason” (Variety) – follows in the grand traditions of twisted Midnight movies past. Think Female Trouble, Eraser Head, El Topo… then multiply by a thousand. Rolling Stone called it “2016’s most disgusting movie.” The Guardian thinks it’s “Perhaps the The strangest, sickest and scariest midnight movie ever.” Indie Wire called it “disgusting, deviant and pleasurably weird at heart.” And Variety called it anexercise in juvenile scatology that’s almost awesomely pure in its numbing, repetitious determination to annoy.”

The plot?

“The Los Angeles-set tale follows Ronnie, a man who runs a Disco Walking tour along with his browbeaten son, Brayden. When a sexy, alluring woman comes to take the tour, it begins a competition between father and son for her attentions. It also signals the appearance of an oily, slimy inhuman maniac who stalks the streets at night and strangles the innocent, soon dubbed ‘The Greasy Strangler.’”

Watch the trailer below.

My favorite review though? Dangerous Minds, who raves:

Low-budget, transgressive, tasteless, hermetic, cheesy and nauseating, it’s a one-of-a-kind, jaw-dropping hilariously over-the-top mindfuck…. The rare “cult” film that manages to conceal its self-consciousness under a barrage of laughter and inspired hideousness.

In the guise of a slasher film, The Greasy Strangler is really a warped domestic comedy that deals with lots of issues–issues in the big “psychological” sense. Daddy issues, mommy issues, sex issues and explosive gastric issues. But whatever the subtext it’s all marinading in pools of vomit, jism, grease and blood. The Greasy Strangler belongs in the same bizarre world of John Waters, David Lynch, The Kuchar Brothers, and Ted V. Mikels. Movie-making that comes directly from the id to you. The meaning is in the mayhem.

Directed by British filmmaker Jim Hosking and starring Sky Elobar, Michael St. Michaels, and Elizabeth De Razzo, The Greasy Strangler is an unapologetic puke fest with a spastic lower intestinal tract and a heart of gold. Imagine a family sitcom shot deep in the bowels of Hell and you (kind of) get the picture. The Greasy Strangler puts the cleaver into Leave It To Beaver. It’s the feel bad feel good film of 2016. Murder means never having to say you’re sorry.

“Grease” is the word.

The Greasy Strangler opens today in theaters and is available to stream here. Please do check it out.

#BornThisDay: Sigourney Weaver

sigourney-weaver

October 8, 1949Sigourney Weaver:

“I’m no Ripley. I had doubts that I could play her as strongly as she had to be played, but I must say that it was fun exploring that side of myself. Women don’t get to do that very often.”

She was born with the name Susan, but at 14 years old she decided to change her name to Sigourney, chosen from a minor character in F. Scott Fitzgerald‘s novel The Great Gatsby (1925). She felt the name change suited to her increasing height. She was already nearly 6 feet tall.

It must have been tough studying at Yale School Of Drama, being cast only as old women and walk-ons, having your professors tell you that you would have a trouble getting work because of your looks. Add the indignity of having Meryl Streep, in the class behind you, getting all the best roles. Weaver really suffered for her art.

She became buddies with Christopher Durang who was in the playwriting program at Yale. Weaver wanted to break boundaries and she got support from the writers, especially from Durang, for whom she became a muse. She starred in his first Yale show, Darryl And Carol And Kenny And Jenny, where she sang Better Dead Than Sorry while undergoing shock treatment. Weaver would become Durang’s darling, starring in his plays on and off Broadway: from Das Lusitania Songspiel in 1976 to the Tony Award winning Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike in 2013.

“My teachers at Yale said I had no talent and would never get anywhere. I tried! I wanted to work in a flower store or a bakery, but my friends, who were mostly playwrights and directors, kept casting me in plays in New York, so I worked all the time, even though I wasn’t being paid. My dream was to be part of a repertory company and play big parts in one play and little parts in another. I love being part of an ensemble.”

Weaver has a fine Upper East Side pedigree. She went to boarding school in Connecticut. Her famous father was Sylvester “Pat” Weaver, who began an empire at NBC. As president of the company, Weaver created both The Today Show and The Tonight Show. He kind of invented the whole host at the desk/guest on the couch format that is still used on talk shows today. Her mother was the beautiful English actor Elizabeth Inglis who had appeared in Alfred Hitchcock‘s The 39 Steps.

In 1979, Weaver became one of the very first female action stars, certainly the first with true box-office clout, when she played Lieutenant Ellen Ripley, the only woman and the single survivor of a doomed starship crew in the terrifying Alien, Ridley Scott‘s Science Fiction Horror classic. Weaver:

“It had nothing to do with feminism. Men decided to make Ripley a woman for commercial reasons.”

Ripley not only showed off Weaver’s acting skills and physicality, the role help change how female characters were seen in modern film.

“It was a time when a lot of women in America were taking on these traditionally male jobs such as being in the US Army and Navy, so I think it was a very timely character. I was lucky that the script was all about character and action, as opposed to looking fantastic in an unbelievable outfit. It was such an original and innovative movie, showing space as it might be.  Ripley was a woman from that world.”

James Cameron‘s sequel, Aliens (1986), brought back Ripley, but made her more soulful and more explicitly feminist. Remember the famous ad campaign that featured a battle weary Weaver cradling a huge weapon in one arm and a frightened little girl in the other? Her Ripley fought back against a male dominated corrupt corporation that was choking the entire universe, but she had to wear a special outfit called the “power-loader” to do combat. 1980s working woman could relate. Speaking of 1980s working women, my own favorite Weaver role is her horrible boss in Mike NicholsWorking Girl (1988).

sigourney-weaver-ellen-ripley-to-get-an-ending-in-aliens-covenant

Once she got started, Weaver has been able to have a long, varied career on stage, screen and television for four decades, performing in nearly every genre from Comedies to Sci-Fi to Westerns to Dramas. She has had seven Golden Globe Award nominations, winning as both Best Actress and Best Supporting Actress for playing real life Diane Fossey in Gorillas In The Mist (1988) and for Working Girl, becoming the first person to win two acting Golden Globes in the same year. She has a BAFTA for Best Supporting Actress for The Ice Storm (1997), plus three Academy Award nominations and three Emmy nominations.

I love her in the terrific The Year Of Living Dangerously (1982) opposite a pre-crazy, very hot Mel Gibson. In most of her films, Weaver plays tough, troubled characters.

“I’ve played a lot of women who were quite isolated. I always end up playing these loony women who are very much on their own.”

Weaver also has shown a great sense of the absurd and terrific comic chops in films like the three Ghostbusters flicks (1984, 1989, 2016), Dave (1993) and especially Galaxy Quest (1999).

“I would run a mile to do a comedy. I started out in comedy on stage and it’s my favorite thing to do. I would maybe have liked to have done comedy earlier in my career, but I think Ripley made such an impression it took a long time for someone to trust me with it.”

I certainly think that Weaver qualifies as a Gay Icon and of special interest to her gay fans, aside from her obvious fabulousness, would be her roles in Prayers For Bobby (2009), the true story of gay rights activist Mary Griffith, Jeffrey (1995) Paul Rudnick’s very funny, sweet gay romantic comedy, and as Babe Paley in that other Truman Capote biopic, Infamous (2006), plus there is Avatar (2009), James Cameron’s big-budget 3D blockbuster, which I have never seen, but I think she plays some sort of green skinned lesbian. I also especially admired her work in the limited television series Political Animals (2012) as a divorced former First Lady and current Secretary of State with a bad boy gay son.

“When I look at my career, I’ve followed the same model. I don’t care how big the part is; if it’s a good story & hangs together it’s something I want to be part of, and that’s thrown me into all kinds of projects. For me, it’s all about the story. I’m not saving lives, but I feel there’s something very important about being a storyteller and to give someone a sense of what it is to be someone else.”

In December, she will be featured in the fantasy flick A Monster Calls with Liam Neeson, who is actually taller than Weaver. Up next: an unnecessary sequel to Avatar, the return of Ripley in another Alien film, the fourth in the series.

She has been married to director Jim Simpson for 32 years. They live together in NYC.

Weaver has created a unique career on stage and in films, especially impressive when decades ago, she was told she’d never get anywhere as an actor. She is a dedicated environmentalist and also serves as spokesman for the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund and on the board of Lawyers Committee For Human Rights.

Weaver’s work as an actor and activist is enough to make Streep jealous.

“Our country is so polarized in so many ways. Parts of this country are really digging in. This is the big battle, and I’m afraid it has not changed. That’s why the pope saying ‘Let’s love each other” was so profound. The fact that it’s all still wrapped up in religion & shame, I’m very impatient with our species. I don’t think gorillas in the wild do this. They are superior to us in every way.”

Subway riders in New York City got a scare this week when someone dressed as a clown tried to stop them from exiting a train car…

A 16-year-old boy was trying to get off a subway train at the 96th Street station on Lexington Avenue around when he encountered a clown who stood in the doorway, preventing passengers from getting off the train. The teenager pushed past the clown. But the clown chased him as he ran through the turnstile and up the stairs of the subway station.

The clown had a kitchen knife and as the boy continued out to the street. Police said he was not hurt and that their investigation is ongoing.

This comes as an epidemic of creepy clown sightings has been causing alarm across the country and has led to more than a dozen arrests. The White House weighed in this week, with Press Secretary Josh Earnest saying on Tuesday it’s

a situation that local law enforcement authorities take quite seriously.

Let’s hope so. Watch Time magazine’s “clown news montage”.

14632961_10154646363939380_7750611423434818517_nLeave it to Donald Trump, with a hurricane thrashing Florida and the Carolinas, to create an even bigger storm with a decade old tape.

CNN says, according to an NBC source, one of Access Hollywood‘s’s producers remembered Trump’s interview with former co-host Billy Bush.

Trump’s offensive comments about Alicia Machado were still in the news and AP had just published a story quoting former “Apprentice” employees saying Trump “was lewd and sexist”. With that in mind, executive producer Rob Silverstein had his team taken a look at the 2005 tape, and discovered that among other gross things, it included a moment in which Trump told a laughing Billy Bush,

…and when you’re a star, they let you do it. You can do anything… Grab them by the pussy. You can do anything.

After reviewing the tape Silverstein was debating what to do and then decided to broadcast it, and a script had been written. But the story was not slated to air on Friday night’s edition of the show, meaning the earliest it would have aired is Monday night –AFTER Sunday night’s Presidential debate.

NBC was then notified that David Fahrenthold of The Washington Post had come into possession of a copy and asked for comment about the tape around noon. The producers at “Access” were blindsided.

Farenthold says he knows the identity of the person who leaked the video to him, but will not disclose it and sources at NBC believe someone inside the company downloaded the footage from one of the network’s video servers.

Silverstein told The NY Post on Friday afternoon,

I don’t know who leaked it. I have no idea.

After the Post called NBC for comment, NBC News staff hurried to finish a story about it and on last night’s edition, co-host Natalie Morales reported on the tape, saying

In the course of reporting on Mr. Trump, we have reviewed much of our own footage…

And Donald Trump, who has since tried to apologize, while attacking Hillary Clinton via her husband’s infidelities, has come under an avalanche of criticism from members of his own party.

Utah Sen. Mike Lee released a video on Facebook shortly after Trump’s apology,

It’s occurred to me on countless occasions today that if anyone spoke to my wife or my daughter or my five sisters like the way Mr. Trump has spoke to women, I wouldn’t hire that person, I wouldn’t want to be associated with that person. You, sir, are the distraction. Your conduct is the distraction . . . Mr. Trump, I respectfully ask you, with all due respect, to step aside. Step down.

Virginia Rep. Barbara Comstock also called for Trump to exit the race.

This is disgusting, vile, and disqualifying. No woman should ever be subjected to this type of obscene behavior and it is unbecoming of anybody seeking high office. In light of these comments, Donald Trump should step aside and allow our party to replace him with Mike Pence or another appropriate nominee from the Republican Party.

Before Trump aired his apology video, Utah Rep. Jason Chaffetz said,

And why should we tolerate this?. This is the presidency of the United States of America: I just can’t do it.

A source told AP that Trump’s running mate, Indiana Gov. Mike Pence, was “beside himself,” and Pence’s wife was furious.

Sen. Paul Ryan said Trump would not be appearing with him at a scheduled event in Wisconsin and Pence will be attending in his place with Trump staying in New York to prepare for the debate.

This is a problem for Today Show host Billy Bush, as well, who told The Post,

Obviously I’m embarrassed and ashamed. It’s no excuse, but this happened 11 years ago — I was younger, less mature and acted foolishly in playing along. I’m very sorry.

Meanwhile, Robert DeNiro lashed out at Trump in a video that aired on Megyn Kelly’s show, saying that he’d,

like to punch him in the face.

Social media is naturally ablaze with all sorts of memes and posts. We created our own Trump / Pence campaign promotion making lemonade out of a mountain of lemons, trying our best to get #PussyGate to trend.

Meanwhile, many in the Trump camp are throwing in the towel. CNN reported that a GOP operative in Ohio said,

This is bad. I think this thing is over.

French Officials Are Wondering, Did Kim & Kanye Make Up the Whole Robbery?

Was it all made up? Strangely, no surveillance footage has been found, despite reports of a robbery involving five people. Now, French officials may be wondering if Kim Kardashian West and Kanye West might have fabricated the whole thing. Yesterday, Digital Music News raised a number of glaring problems with the reported jewelry heist.

Here are the bullet points:

LAX SECURITY – The presence of just ONE night watchman in the entire hotel, an immediate escape by Kim Kardashian and the absence of even one message to the outside world. And, according to details ‘leaked’ to TMZ, there isn’t any security footage of the crime. A five-person crew managed to evade every single camera, either inside the hotel or outside the building. Paris is littered with cameras on every block. One police surveillance camera outside the building shows zero activity.

NO WITNESSES – There isn’t one witness to the crime outside Kim Kardashian and the night watchman. Fashion stylist Simone Harouche, who called the cops after allegedly hearing screams from Kardashian on the hotel balcony has not commented.

NO LEADS. NO SUSPECTS – Nobody saw anyone riding a bicycle in a police uniform, or even walking away. Not one individual has even been detained, so far.

DID THEY “LOCHTE” IT? – The whole thing bears a striking resemblance to another robbery tale, during the recent Olympics in Rio. The Rio ‘robbers’ decided not to steal an expensive watch, among other glaring inconsistencies. Video footage later revealed that Ryan Lochte and team were merely vandalizing a gas station bathroom while drunk. The ‘robbers’ were actually security guards trying to control the situation. Lochte was publicly shamed for cooking up the story.

Could Kim & Kanye be guilty of the same sort of international crime as Lochte? (Except this time, there would also be insurance fraud.) Doesn’t seem very likely to me, but inquiring minds want to know what happened and the guys who robbed them caught!

Soon after audio leaked of the Donald Trump making repugnant comments about the opposite sex in 2005, the Full Frontal host, Samantha Bee, was caught up in her own (self-made) scandal. Bee is heard saying, after spotting a man as she travels on a bus with the hot mic recording.

You know what looks a little bit luscious to me… balls. Just like to reach up there and grab ’em.

To mock Trump’s non-apology, she later posted a official statement which claimed Bee was just indulging in “classic girl talk” and that “men should be flattered” with her sleazy remarks.

Listen and LOL.

#BornThisDay: John Lennon

lennon-1000x750

October 9, 1940John Winston Ono Lennon is probably the most celebrated songwriter of all time. He is certainly one of the most famous people of the 20th century. He was murdered. He died a revolutionary and somewhat of a martyr. I loved him very much. 53 years, and I still listen to his music.

The Beatles story is a huge chunk of the last century’s popular culture history. Lennon was at the center of that story. He was the de-facto leader of the band for most of their time together. He was the artistic force who pushed Paul McCartney, and to some degree George Harrison and Ringo Starr, past their teenage idol status and into a sort the music that brought all other Pop Music along for the ride. The Beatles were bigger than Pop Music. Lennon knew it and that didn’t make him happy.

Lennon was just 20 years old when the band played clubs in Hamburg. His father was a sailor who abandoned his son shortly after his birth, while Liverpool was being bombed by the Nazis. The father later did time in jail for desertion, but when he came out, John’s mother, Julia Lennon (née Stanley), had already found a new man. John was sent to live with Julia’s married sister, Mimi Smith, whose husband was a milkman.

His mother lived nearby as a sort of shadow figure. Lennon slowly emerged from his loneliness. He became a leader of a street gang, shoplifting and hitching rides on trolley cars. He also began to draw and write books when he was just 8 years old. Art helped him express his sense of the absurd. When he was 12 years old, Lennon’s report card read:

“Hopeless. Rather a clown in class. He is just wasting other pupils’ time.”

Lennon:

“I felt different. I always felt different from the rest. But I didn’t know what the hell to do about it.”

His Aunt Julia showed him a way. She gave Lennon a guitar as a gift. She showed him a few chords. Skiffle music was all the rage in England at the time. It is a simple, casual, shuffling style that uses one-string bass and washboards. Lennon began playing Skiffle at the same time that Elvis Presley was playing a new kind of music in the USA. Rock ‘N’ Roll changed Lennon’s life. The same year, Lennon’s mother died of cancer.

“Rock ’N’ Roll was a place to put everything. You could have pictures in your head and make pictures into words, and the music would carry the words along, like a big bloody boat. That’s what everybody started to do.”

Rebellious Lennon possessed a special acerbic wit that was revealed in his music, writing, drawings, and later in appearances on television, film and in interviews. He was controversial his entire adult life, even more so because of his political, social and peace activism. Controversy seemed to always find him. In 1966, Lennon faced a fierce backlash from religious and social conservatives, including the KKK, because of a comment had made in an interview:

“Christianity will go. It will vanish and shrink. I needn’t argue about that; I’m right and I will be proved right. We’re more popular than Jesus now. I don’t know which will go first, Rock ‘N’ Roll or Christianity. Jesus was alright but his disciples are thick and ordinary. It’s them twisting it that ruins it for me.”

The Vatican issued a protest and radio stations banned The Beatles’ songs. Young people were urged to burn their records. Lennon countered:

“If I’d said television was more popular than Jesus, I might have got away with it. If you want me to apologize, if that will make you happy, then okay, I’m sorry.”

Young Lennon had wanted to get out of Liverpool, make music, and become rich and famous. He managed all of that. He grew to want something else: a purer sound and a more profound art. He felt could never do that as one of The Beatles.

He dropped acid, studied Eastern Mysticism, and attempted to adjust to his incredible wealth and fame. Lennon was also very unhappy. He was married to Cynthia and they had a son Julian when he met and fell in love with conceptual artist Yoko Ono, who was seven years older. His relationship with Ono was a challenge for The Beatles and they all drifted away. After 1970, with the release of Let It Be, The Beatles were over. Lennon, McCartney, Harrison and Starr all released solo albums later that year. Because of lawyers, the group was not officially disbanded until 1974.

Lennon:

“Everybody wants to blame someone for The Beatles’ breaking up. They want to blame Yoko most of all. But it was already over musically before I met her.”

After the breakup of the band, Lennon recorded solo and with collaborators. He made some good music and some not-so-good music. He dropped out for half a decade to be a house-husband. In his recordings with Ono, together they pushed the limits of what could be defined as Pop Music. He was devoted to protesting war and he was hounded by that dick Richard M. Nixon, cross-dresser J. Edgar Hoover and the US Department Of Immigration because of it.

On a snowy evening on December 8, 1980, riding together in his car, my new boyfriend (now my husband) and I had to pull over to the side of the road as we heard the announcement on the radio that Lennon had been murdered in front of the Dakota Apartments where he and Ono lived with their son Sean. We wept.

My favorite Lennon song is Julia, recorded 48 years ago today. It is not a rock anthem or a message song. It grew out of the guitar lessons Lennon took from the ethereal Donovan during their time in India in 1967, studying Transcendental Meditation with Maharishi Mahesh Yogi.

Julia has no soaring melody, no harmonies, no clever arrangement, no discernible chorus, just Lennon on guitar and his heartbreaking voice. The song lacks everything that made The Beatles the most famous band of all time.

Lennon said that telling the truth in his songs was more important than anything else. Julia has no social cause or great message. It is the song of a broken man still coping with a childhood with no mother. The mood is sad and low-key.

Lennon would have celebrated his 76th birthday today, probably with Yoko, Sean (they share a birthday) and his other son Julian. Maybe Paul and Ringo would be there, with Harry Nilsson, in spirit. They might have all enjoyed some vegan carrot cake together. Last year on this day, Ono was in Reykjavik to light the Imagine Peace Tower built in memory of her husband. Ono:

“I hope the Imagine Peace Tower will give light to the strong wishes of World Peace from all corners of the planet and give encouragement, inspiration and a sense of solidarity in a world now filled with fear and confusion. Let us come together to realize a peaceful world.”

Today, Ono announced the four recipients of the 2016 Lennon Ono Grant For Peace, her biennial award inaugurated in 2002: Olafur Eliasson, a Danish/Icelandic artist; Anish Kappor, a British/Indian artist; Katalin Ladik, a Hungarian poet; and the great Chinese artist and activist, Ai Weiwei.

“Imagine all the people, living life in peace…”

A 21 Year-Old “Mr. Grey” Shows Off $500,00 Worth of Art Bongs

bfa_17243_2157700
Last Sunday a guy calling himself “Mr. Grey” (not that one and not his name) threw a party at his West Village gallery, Grey Space Art. The show displayed some VERY expensive glass bongs and pipes, priced anywhere from $5,000 to $350,000.

Are you HIGH, you might ask? But according to the press release,

“while the common eye may only see the end use, Mr. Grey’s foremost intention is to showcase these incredible achievements in the glass medium and for these pieces to live as sculptures.”

OK. That same press release also says,

At just 21-years of age, not much is known about ‘Mr. Grey’ except for his tenacity and fresh approach to the art industry.

According to CR Fashion, Mr. Grey says about his collecting,

It took about four years to get into this medium. In 2012, cannabis was being legalized recreationally in Colorado, and I have a good friend and business partner who said that there were some stocks related to cannabis — they are not very secure, and they’re penny stocks — but when cannabis gets legalized, he had a hunch that they’d rise. And I thought he was right. We invested all of our capital in any stock we could find related to weed, and two weeks later it got recreationally legalized in Colorado. The stocks shot up somewhere like 3000%.

I sold out all my positions and joined a venture capital group dedicated to ancillary cannabis businesses, whether it was vaporizers, or grow lights, or storage. It was like Shark Tank for cannabis. Through this, I met someone who introduced me to a glassblowers making bongs out of a warehouse, and ended up finding artists who were making sculptures that you could smoke out of, selling for thousands of dollars already — I knew immediately that they needed representation on the art scene.“

Have a look.

Petra Ecclestone and James Stunt reportedly had a $5 million dollar wedding in 2011. Seems about right since she's got around $300 million and he has a net worth of $5-6 billion.

Petra Ecclestone and James Stunt reportedly had a $5 million dollar wedding in 2011. Seems about right since she’s got around $300 million and he has a net worth of $5-6 billion.

The Spelling Mansion is a 56,500-square-foot Holmby Hills palace owned by billionaire British heiress Petra Ecclestone Stunt, and it just hit the market last week for $200 million. That’s roughly $3,500 a square foot, a price-per-square-foot BARGAIN compared to the Playboy Mansion, which recently sold to Daren Metropoulos for over $5,250 a square foot.

The 123-room Spelling mansion sale will likely steal the title from Hugh Hefner’s party palace to become L.A.’s priciest ever home. Ben Bacal of Rodeo Realty says of The Manor,

It’s an epic mansion that’s solidly built. It’s elegant but it has a sexy, rock n’ roll feel. It’s 100 percent worth it.

The estate’s original proprietors, Candy and Aaron Spelling (parents of Tori) dubbed the estate “The Manor” and it first the property hit the market 2011, five years after Aaron Spelling’s death, for $85 million.

Petra, who has since married businessman James Stunt, got to work to rid the property of Candy’s aesthetic, hiring 500 employees to transform the property, according to an interview she gave to W in 2012.

She installed a giant exotic fish tank in the study, a bowling alley in the basement and a spa with three hair stations. Brit designer Gavin Brodin led the $30 million makeover.

Still Compass broker Greg Harris, says the mansion’s most valuable asset is its size.

She’s selling a big house, she’s not selling history.

$200 million still may be a reach being that there’s only a few handfuls of people in the world who could afford it.

Even if they only get in the neighborhood of $150 million to $170 million range, that still a pricey neighborhood. It would be record-breaking and Michael Nourmand of Nourmand & Associates said,

I have no doubt in my mind it would still be the most expensive sale in L.A.

STOP THE PRESSES! Zayn Malik Terrible In Bed, According to New Little Mix Song

New Little Mix single out this week, “Shout-Out to My Ex,” which appears to spill ALL THE T about bandmate Perrie Edwards (above) and the (rather abysmal) sex she had with ex-boyfriend Zayn Malik. The song takes aim at an ex-boyfriend who has found love with a new girl (Zayn has since moved on with supermodel Gigi Hadid). “Yeah, that hurt me I’ll admit,” she sings, “Forget that boy, I’m over it/I hope she’s getting better sex/Hope she ain’t faking it like I did/babe…”

Ouch.

Lyrics, below.

eagvtw-jpg

Although…. If you have to fake it with someone as hot as Zayn, maybe the problem is YOU? Just thrown’ it out there…. He could have two angry inches and be the most selfish lover in the world and I’d still be happy. That face! Those eyelashes! I LOVE YOU ZAAAAAAAYN!

Via The Sun:

In the explosive girl power anthem Shout Out to My Ex, Perrie appears to claim she faked orgasms in bed with Zayn – and admits she is unsure whether she ever really loved him at all.

And it all comes as she confirms her relationship with Our Girl actor LUKE PASQUALINO – who she was photographed kissing at bandmate LEIGH-ANNE PINNOCK’s 25th birthday party on Saturday night.

Referring to Zayn’s new model girlfriend GIGI HADID on the new track, the Geordie sings: “I hope she gettin’ better sex, Hope she ain’t fakin’ it like I did, babe.”

At another point, Perrie mocks the inking of her face which Zayn had on his bicep, which he has since covered up with another tattoo.

The lyrics continue: “Guess I should say thank you, For the ‘hate yous’ and the tattoos, Oh baby I’m cool by the way, Ain’t sure I loved you anyway.”

The couple got together in 2011 when Little Mix were on the X Factor, but they eventually split in July last year – just months after he quit ONE DIRECTION amid news he had cheated on Perrie while on tour.

I revealed at the time how Perrie had been left devastated when he brutally dumped her by text message, but now she will get her revenge by publicly humiliating him.

Amber Tamblyn Shares Heartbreaking Story After Trump Tape Surfaces

In last night’s awesome debate, Hillary said what the country needs is healing, and healing it does. After Trump (and Billy Bush’s) lewd, crass, and horrible video surfaced over the weekend, actress/activist/artist Amber Tamblyn shared a heart wrenching story about an ex that “grabbed her by the p***y.”

Check it out and make sure you vote:

I need to tell you a story. With the love and support of my husband, I’ve decided to share it publicly. A very long time ago I ended a long emotionally and physically abusive relationship with a man I had been with for some time. One night I was at a show with a couple girlfriends in Hollywood, listening to a DJ we all loved. I knew there was a chance my ex could show up, but I felt protected with my girls around me. Without going into all the of the details, I will tell you that my ex did show up, and came up to me in the crowd. He’s a big guy, taller than me. The minute he saw me, he picked me up with one hand by my hair and with his other hand, he grabbed me under my skirt by my vagina— my pussy?— and lifted me up off the floor, literally, and carried me, like something he owned, like a piece of trash, out of the club. His fingers were practically inside of me, his other hand wrapped tightly around my hair. I screamed and kicked and cried. He carried me this way, suspended by his hands, all the way across the room, pushing past people until he got to the front door. My friends ran after him, trying to stop him. We got to the front door and I thank God his brothers were also there and intervened. In the scuffle he grabbed at my clothes, trying to hold onto me, screaming at me, and inadvertently ripped off my grandmother’s necklace, which I was wearing. The rest of this night is a blur I do not remember. How I got out to the car. How I got away from him that night. I never returned for my necklace either. That part of my body, which the current Presidential Nominee of the United States Donald Trump recently described as something he’d like to grab a woman by, was bruised from my ex-boyfriend’s violence for at least the next week. I had a hard time wearing jeans. I couldn’t sleep without a pillow between my legs to create space. To this day I remember that moment. I remember the shame. I am afraid my mom will read this post. I’m even more afraid that my father could ever know this story. That it would break his heart. I couldn’t take that. But you understand, don’t you? I needed to tell a story. Enjoy the debates tonight.

GEM (Geri, Emma, and Mel B) might need to postpone their Spice Girls reunion tour because one of the three can now go by the pseudo-name “Mama Spice.” But which of the five british beauties has a bun in the oven? With fashion houses and solo music careers to boot, it hardly seems like any of the girls have time for a new baby!
