Saturday’s incident is being fully investigated, as there are misreports about what took place. Webster Hall’s staff do NOT carry tasers and are not armed. They carry strobe flashlights. The safety of all guests is always our primary focus.

This incident involved artist and artist management, which required Webster Hall staff to intervene. The parties responsible for the incident then continued to escalate the situation.

Webster Hall’s staff do not carry tasers or weapons of any kind. References to alleged weapons are false. While the incident is of course unfortunate, we are fortunate that no serious injuries were actually reported. An investigation of the incident and the people involved is ongoing. Anyone found to be involved in any wrongdoing will be dealt with immediately.

Why did you choose this Beyonce track to remix?

I chose this track because one, it was just a hit and deserves a flip…secondly, the song stood for something to be, and just praising the color of my skin. And while so many people are hating Beyoncé right now, I’m sucking it in and spitting it back out… my way!

How did you get it done so fast?

I got it done within a week! Like as soon as it dropped, I was on it, and it’s not like that for many tracks I make which can take up to two years. It had an easy flow for me.

What’s your sound?

Just some exciting, bass driven, minimal and direct beats that still give you a feeling inside.

What are you working on now?

I just finished scoring the KiKi film…we’re promoting that now heavy. My label Qween Beat‘s first compilation is due out soon and then I’m headed right back into the studios to work on more solo material and a few remixes/production for artists.

In New York City, LGBTQ youth-of-color gather out on the Christopher Street Pier, practicing a performance-based art form, Ballroom, which was made famous in the early 1990s by Madonna’s music video “Vogue” and the documentary “Paris Is Burning.” Twenty-five years after these cultural touchstones, a new and very different generation of LGBTQ youth have formed an artistic activist subculture, named the Kiki Scene.

KIKI follows seven characters from the Kiki community over the course of three years, using their preparations and spectacular performances at events known as Kiki balls as a framing device while delving into their battles with homelessness, illness and prejudice as well as their gains towards political influence and the conquering of affirming gender-expressions. In KIKI we meet Twiggy Pucci Garçon, the founder and gatekeeper for the Haus of Pucci, Chi Chi, Gia, Chris, Divo, Symba and Zariya. Each of these remarkable young people represents a unique and powerful personal story, illuminating the Kiki scene in particular, as well as queer life in the U.S. for LGBTQ youth-of-color as a whole.

Adam had been trying to catch a glimpse of the D for quite some time, too.

Speaking to Daily Mail Australia, 32-year-old Adam revealed he glimpsed Zac’s package after working with him on Comedy Central’s Workaholics. “In that scene we do, we kept trying to see Zac Efron’s d**k,” Adam explained of working with Zac and Seth Rogen on Workaholics back in 2014 to help promote the duo’s film Bad Neighbours.

In April 2014 Zac and Seth appeared in a profanity-laced skit for Workaholics, which instantly became an internet sensation.

While competing for a job interview, both Seth and Zac tried to outdo each other, even showing off their private parts to impress their three potential bosses, played by Blake, Adam and Anders.

While Adam and co-stars Blake Anderson and Anders Holm didn’t have much luck getting a proper glimpse of Zac’s modesty, Adam persevered and finally saw the goods.

TMZ is reporting that the voice behind the “Damn, Daniel” video was pranked yesterday when cops were called to his Riverside home to investigate a possible homicide.

Law enforcement tells TMZ they responded to a call around 1 AM to the Riverside, CA home after the caller said a boy had shot his mom in the head with an AK-47. However, it all turned out to be a hoax … officers cleared the scene and determined no one at the house was involved.

There are no suspects at this time.

In the meantime, the “Damn Daniel” video has racked more than 300k retweets and 390k favorites. And if you STILL have no idea who or what I’m talking about, here is your introduction to the most famous person in the world right now.

So, when I first caught a glimpse of Thorgy Thor last night, I did do a double-take. I thought for a second it was Sweetie, the NYC drag legend, but she was just paying homage. I told her what I thought and she laughed and said,

“YOU clocked it.“

Everyone was floored by her transformation, but it REALLY must have confused some of the reporters.

You know, I write for The Wow Report on a daily basis, and I know the World of Wonder folks for years –I’m taking DECADES– but I don’t know beans about the goings on of Drag Race, ahead of the show. They tell me NOTHING! – which is good so I can say what I want, without fear of giving anything away. I’m like you –just along for the ride, giving my 2 cents, whether anybody asks or not.

Now, it’s a press event, so the girls are going to be killing it with fierce looks and one their BEST behavior for reporters, but I will say this, they were all super-nice, professional, funny and tons of fun. I got a chance to talk to all of them a little bit. A few seemed a bit nervous, but once Ruben got them aside to take pictures, they all turned it on for the camera. Sparkle Neely! I’m predicting that this is going to be a FUN ride this season, but again –what do I know…?

When it came time for the crowd downstairs to meet the girls they were all READY for it. Bianca DID change into a flowy, caftan, which seemed to be decorated with her own face (who else) and she gave the crowd lots of shit –natch, teasing them all night. At one point saying that once you’ve been ON the show, THEN you can talk about it with real authority and give advice…

“I hear from queens all the time, ‘I’ve watched every single season and episode of Drag Race, which makes me an EXPERT!’

No, honey. That makes you a VIEW-ER!‘”

Well, we know who’s opinion counts, now. MINE! No, YOURS! That’s the fun of the show, everyone gets to say what they want about ANYTHING they want. Just be careful what you say to Bianca!

The performances were all pretty incredible. A few stood out for me –and the crowd, by their reactions. Acid Betty was up first and got spray painted during her number. Bob the Drag Queen was lipsyncing to Patti LaBelle‘s Over the Rainbow in a black dress and when she reached the climax of the song, she twirled it into a floor-length rainbow chiffon gown… I thought the crowd was going to lose their damn minds! You never heard such screaming! One of the best onstage transformations I’ve ever seen. EVER.

Thorgy Thor closed the show, which was a transformation of sorts too, revealing her inner flashdance under all that earlier padding. Vegas’s Derrick Barry did a FLAWLESS Britney. I can already hear the other girls saying,

“Does she do anything else?!“

We’ll find out won’t we? The crowd was gagging for Kim Chi‘s chiffon night gown look and Robbie Turner is looking like this season’s Jinx Monsoon, if you want to play that game of who is like whom. Robbie came out in old lady waitress drag to which she peeled down to sequins and saggy boobies. Laila McQueen was the goth girl of the night, and when I say girl –I mean GURL, the BODY! Naomi Smalls is NOT small, she’s 12 feet tall, with legs for days. Cynthia Lee Fontaine is cute, sweet, bubbly and talented and had all the reporters eating out of her hand. Some of the numbers went on too long, but the crowd did NOT seem to mind at all. Bianca introduced a clip of RuPaul’s new show, Gay For Pay, with sarcasm and bitchiness, which we know comes from love… right? She hinted to me backstage that she is talking with World of Wonder about developing her own show…

“They’re finally doing a show RuPaul ISN’T in!“

Well, we’ll watch ANYTHING Mama Ru is in, you know and, duh –it’s a no-brainer –we’d all watch anything Bianca is in too.

We got a sneak peek of the premiere, which you may have heard is the 100th episode of RuPaul’s Drag Race. Timing! And Ru tells Derrick Barry that she is the 100th queen to walk though those doors. Timing! Well, they didn’t show us THAT much, but I will tell you the gaggy-est part. The first challenge is a photo shoot with Mathu Anderson with all 7 of the winners of RPDR! The new girls pose off with the Drag Race veterans and some sparks FLY! I’ll leave it at that. Can. Not. Wait. RuPaul’s Drag Race premieres on Monday, March 7 at 10PM, EST on Logo.

Robotics company/Harbinger of the Apocalypse Boston Dynamics has developed a new upgraded version of its upright walking Atlas robot. Standing at 5′ 9″, the new model is shorter and lighter than its predecessor, but is fully equipped to operate both indoors and out “with a focus on mobile manipulation.” The video, below, shows it opening doors, picking up boxes, strolling about in nature, balancing itself when it encounters bumps or holes in the terrain, and taking a looooooooooot of shit from his nasty human overseer. (Seriously: It’s guys like him that are the reason Skynet started the war).

Says one YouTube commenter: “I feel bad for the robot and am extremely afraid of him at the same time… Someday when the AI of these things gets too good we will all definitely die.” I cosign THAT, sister.

At last year’s Oscar ceremony, Lady Gaga belted out a medley of hits from The Sound of Music and THE WORLD LOST ITS DAMN MIND. It was magnificent! Majestic! Awe-inspiring! It showed hitherto unknown depth and range and finally made fans out of old people everywhere (including my mother!) who had previously dismissed her as nothing but a dolled-up ninny.

Flash forward one year later, and the cast of the Broadway musical have returned the favor with a mashup of Gaga’s greatest hits: “Judas,” “Edge of Glory,” “Paparazzi,” and “Bad Romance” – all done in The Sound of Music costumes, in character, and on the theater stage. It’s both a toe-tapping tribute to the singer and a fundraiser for one of Gaga’s favorite charities Oxfam, which helps eradicate poverty around the world. Good stuff!
