#HorrorHairography: Which Gale Weathers Hair Are You?
Let’s be honest: Drew Barrymore stole Scream.
With her blonde bob, mom jeans, and gigantic cordless phone, starring (and dying) in just the first five minutes of the entire film, she became iconic.
For all you millenials, the first three Scream movies are streaming online so you can Netflix and chill with your boo and be haunted by this opener forever.
The ONLY other part about the Scream franchise that equally left a foot print (or stab wound) on the cultural zeitgeist (or impacted ever gay boy growing up in the burbs of the Midwest) was Gale Weathers ever-changing hair choices.
Wait…that’s not entirely true…
there’s also this special gem that literally saved Scream 3:
When she wasn’t serving monochromatic two-piece pantsuits that would make Solange Knowles and Hilary Clinton envious…

Not only did she sport horrible 90’s highlights, but let’s just say her wig needed some water because she was THIRSTY for a good story to sell. If curiosity is killing your career, than this is the look for you.

In the second film, Gale is at the top of her game. Her arms are RIPPED, so naturally, she wears sleeveless vests with pearls to showcase said toned arms. She is hip,edgy, and trendy (hence, the atrocious red stripes). But when a girl is literally crushing it in the office, does she have time to have a love crush? Gale starts to fall for Dewey, and we see a fierce tenacity in her heart, the same way we see it in her hard-hitting journalism. If you want to mix business and pleasure, than this is the look for you.

Gale is sort of a hot mess in Scream 3
(and LBR, we can see it, just by looking at her bangs).
She’s been painted as a dried-up dragon lady at this point in the series and hot, young, Parker Posey is set to replace her. If you are questioning some of your career/love choices (Dewey leaves her), getting a new look (like, terrible DIY Bettie Page bangs) or sporting bright colors are temporary solaces, but take some advice from your bangs, and GROW. If you’re a boss bitch, but have 99 problems, than this look is you.

I gladly directed his video “Bitch, I’m a Bottom” because I would do basically anything for my friend Pablo…especially if it’s pointing a camera all up in his perfect booty! It’s my first time directing a video since “Hot Couture”, but I think I like Pablo’s ‘costumes’ in this video better.

Rentboy Raid Update: Manhunt Owner Joins Escort Workers Coalition
Owner of gay men’s social networking sites, Manhunt and Jack’d, Jonathan Crutchley (pic below) is the latest to show his support for escorts and the recently raided male escort site Rentboy.com.
Back in August, the Manhattan headquarters of Rentboy was shutdown as part of a money laundering and state prostitution investigation. A couple days later, author and performance artist Justin Vivian Bond joined-in on the growing conversation about workers rights in all industries, including sex workers. Now, Crutchley has become a member of The National Coalition of Rent Boys & Allies– an organization advocating for the legal rights of male escort workers, and he has also made a financial contribution to the legal defense team representing Jeffrey Hurant, founder of Rentboy.com.
“It is no business of the government at any level— be it federal, state, or local— to enter the bedrooms of consenting adults and tell them what they may or may not do within that private setting,” says Crutchley. “I founded my company in the name of individual privacy and sexual freedom. In the name of individual liberty, the Federal government needs to do the job it was given to do by the Constitution.”

#BoycottStarWarsVII: Trending Hashtag Says New Film Promotes “White Genocide”
As the internet impatiently awaited the release of the first trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens, not everyone was looking forward it. A new (stupid) social media movement asked fans to #BoycottStarWarsVII. The hashtag started appearing on Twitter Sunday night objected to the fact that The Force Awakens features lead characters who AREN’T white males. Its users accused the movie of pushing some sinister agenda. One tweet from an account calling itself “End Cultural Marxism read;
“#BoycottStarWarsVII because it is anti-white propaganda promoting #whitegenocide.”
“Jewish activist JJ Abrams is an anti-white nut.”
Another Twitter account, calling itself “Captain Confederacy,” similarly griped;
“SJWs [Social Justice Warriors] complain about White artists ‘misappropriating’ culture created by blacks but then celebrate a non-White Star Wars.”
Yet another complaint read that the movie should be boycotted
“because it’s nothing more than a social justice propaganda piece that alienates it’s core audience of young white males.”
More Twitter accounts have been created after the hashtag was set up to retweet comments posted using it. All this Tweeting ignors the fact that, while not a bastion of cultural diversity, even the earliest Star Wars movies featured leads of color –James Earl Jones voiced Darth Vader through the entire original trilogy, and Billy Dee Williams‘s Lando Calrissian joined the series early on in, The Empire Strikes Back.
On social media, other Star Wars fans have responded in defense of the upcoming movie:

Did you guys see Paula Deen and her dancing partner Louis Van Amstel‘s performance of Madonna’s “Vogue” à la the Queen of Pop’s 1990 MTV VMA performance in which she donned her best Marie Antoinette drag and lip synced for her life on last night’s Dancing With the Stars?
Ms. Butter (Face) basically just walked around the stage, and it made me feel weird when she pulled the guys down to her boobs and Louis crawled from under her dress. Poor thing. Also her “Vogue”-ing looked more like “Walk Like an Egyptian”-ing, and she couldn’t even pop her fan. Fortunately, Paula Deen was given the boot.

#Hitched?: Paris Jackson Uses Boyfriend’s Last Name on Instagram & Sparks Marriage Rumors
Paris Jackson‘s Instagram account has sparked rumors that Michael Jackson‘s 17-year-old daughter may have secretly married boyfriend Chester Castellaw. Paris has added the surname “Castellaw” to her Instagram account. As a minor, Paris would need the consent from one of her guardians –grandma Katherine Jackson or cousin TJ Jackson– if she wanted to get hitched.
Paris has been dating her 18-year-old soccer player boyfriend since April, and they made their red carpet debut as a couple in May at the opening night of the Deaf West Theater‘s production of Spring Awakening in LA.. In August Paris’ cousin TJ said he gave Chester his stamp of approval…
“No one’s perfect, but he’s a good boy, so I approve of him. He treats her well. She’s happy.”
