Rick Trippe, who’s an Australian spearfishing champion, was out on a dive near a World War II wreck in Northern Australia when he saw a giant sea snake. As he got closer, he saw that the nearly 6.5′ snake was biting a stonefish, who was also biting the sea snake! He actually pulled them apart (HELL NO!) only for the snake to chase down the snake and eventually win the battle. Pics below!

In an interview with Gay Star News, beloved gay icon Sir Ian McKellen was asked if he considered himself part of Taylor Swift‘s “squad.” Ian replied:

“I’m not. When I was living in Peter Jackson’s apartment in New York, Taylor Swift bought it while I was there and I was thrown out before I wanted to leave! That hardly puts me in Taylor Swift’s team, does it? You look shocked. Well, she bought it, she had every right to – I was just lodging there for free! She did ask me to appear with Patrick Stewart at her show in LA, but I had something else to do that night.“

In the same interview, he was also asked his thoughts on the Stonewall trailer. Here’s what he had to say.

Are you looking forward to the new Stonewall film?
I’ve heard a little bit about it. I haven’t seen it. I would like to know more about what actually happened. I’ve heard the stories and I visited the Stonewall Inn for the first time very recently. One of the barmen was there the night of the riots. But I know there’s some disagreement with the representation of the principal players. Have you seen it?

No. We’ve seen the trailer. So far, the accusations of whitewashing have been directed at the trailer rather than the film. No one has seen the film yet.
It’s a bit early to criticize then. I know enough about trailers to know they’re not necessarily representative of the film. No one is likely to have made a film about the Stonewall Riots in order to distort the story. But they may have had to do certain casting to get the film made. The Harvey Milk film [Milk, 2008] was romanticized. It was wonderful. I loved Pride [2014], that was romanticized, fictionalized. I suppose they were more attractive looking people in the film than were there in life. Does that matter?

Step aside, Jonah Falcon! There’s a new record-holding giant weiner in town: Roberto Esquivel Cabrera of Saltillo, Mexico whose penis is reportedly 48.2 centimeters (nearly 19 inches) long and the tip’s circumference is 25 centimeters (nearly 10 inches) – and, poor thing, it’s making him MISERABLE.

“Look where it is, it goes far below the knees,” Mr Cabrera sobbed to the press this past weekens. “I cannot do anything, I cannot work, and I am disabled so I want authorities to declare me as a disabled person and give me support.”

His social life is dismal as well, he says as women are too scared to be with him, so he had never had a long-term girlfriend, let alone a wife. (Although I’m sure he’s getting plenty of offers from the boys right about now…)

In 2011 Mr Cabrera was deported from US to Saltillo in the north-eastern Mexican state of Coahuila, where he lives alone in a room given to him by his brothers. He survives on social assistance and scavenges for food and materials on waste dumps. He has no friends and says people “shun” him wherever he goes.

Before his record was made official, Mr Cabrera had a medical examination and X-ray of his phallus to support his application for disability. Doctors at a medical institution in Saltillo have confirmed the scan is genuine, The Mirror reported.

Some experts have suggested Mr Cabrera consider a shaft reduction operation but it is not clear what his thoughts are on the subject.

The previous record holder for penis length was an American called Johan Falcon, whose 13.38 inch manhood (34cm) was dwarfed by Mr Cabrera’s.

And here’s some interesting food for thought, to help you get a visual on the size of his dong: At 19 inches, Roberto’s penis is two-inches shorter than the world’s smallest man! Mr Cabrera’s story and struggle for help is to be published in a book called El Sordido Pudor, which translates as “Sordid Shyness”.

Well, Miss Miley Cyrus hosting the VMAs was anything but boring. Nicki Minaj started off the show performing on her own and then with Taylor Swift and finally embracing her and making nice. But Miley had made comments about Nicki’s (now-resolved) Twitter spat with Taylor in the press and Nicki, after winning for Best Hip-Hop Video, wasted no time throwing some shade Miley’s way, that was none too subtle…

“And now, back to this bitch that had a lot to say about me the other day in the press – Miley what’s good?”

To which Miley said that Nicki shouldn’t be upset for not being nominated for Video of the Year.

“Hey, we’re all in this industry, we all do interviews, and we all know how they manipulate shit…. Nicki, congratulations!”

Nicki then stepped away from her mic and said “don’t play with me, bitch” a few times. (Was this all part of the script? Didn’t look like it to me.) OK, then. We are off to a FINE start!

Miley did a fine job recovering from that and hosting all night, changing outfits 50 times, it seemed. During the opening monologue, she noted that the VMAs hadn’t…

“had a host for the last two years: a tradition they’ll probably return to immediately following tonight’s show. Now, I have literally done everything on the VMAs stage, and none of it showed that I was qualified to host, but here we are.”

She also confessed that her selfies are a lot of hard work in one of several funny pre-taped comedy bits (which gave her time to change). She made hosting look easy but as you might guess, it is anything but. (Butt?)

Taylor cleaned up (as always) winning Video of the Year, Best Female Video, Best Collaboration (with Kendrick Lamar) and Best Pop Video. She thanked Kendrick and her video co-stars onstage with her…

“There are two women in the video who I’ve named cats after. I love them so much. There’s been a lot of discussion this video and what it means, but I’m just happy that, in 2015, we live in a world where boys can play princesses, and girls can play soldiers.”

It was Taylor’s turn AGAIN, presenting the Video Vanguard award to Kanye West, who infamously crashed her 2009 VMAs acceptance speech.

“I first met Kanye West six years ago — at this show actually! Since then, we’ve had a lot of time to talk about a lot of different things.”

He the turned his acceptance speech (after a VERY long applause break, that he seemed to REALLY milk) into a rambling excuse for his behavior. West said,

“You know how many times MTV ran that footage again, ’cause it got them more ratings? You know how many times they said Taylor was going to give me the award, because it got them more ratings? I still don’t understand award shows. I just wanted people to like me more. But fuck that, bro! I will die for the art, for what I believe in. And the art ain’t always gonna be polite.”

After going on for what seemed like FORVER he finally said,

“And yes, as you probably could have guessed by this moment, I have decided, in 2020, to run for president.”

Mic drop. Top THAT!?

Well, for me, several actual performances did. Jared Leto, who confessed he is apparently made REALLY horny by The Weekend introduced “Can’t Feel My Face”. The Weekend is EVERYWHERE right now and his star has been rising but last night, he stepped up and smashed it. He had Kanye dancing in the aisles along with Taylor Swift and half the crowd.

There were also rousing performances outside of “Downtown” by Macklemore & Ryan Lewis (who has a WEIRD new look?) Demi Lovato, who sang, “Cool for the Summer” (with a cameo by Iggy Azalea) and Pharrell who performed “Freedom”.

Justin Bieber had a comeback of sorts, performing at the VMAs for the first time in 5 years which at 21 is FOREVER. After singing, dancing and the musical questions, “Where Are You Now?” and “What Do You Mean?” he flew up in the air, literally, landed, and had a little emotional moment there for a second.

But the show stopper had to be Miley’s much-rumored finalé with the RuPaul’s Drag Race girls! Those costumes were amazing and the queens TURNT IT OUT! There was Delta Work, Courtney Act, Tammie Brown, Carmen Carrera, Shangela, Laganja Estranja (doing a killer death drop!), Willam, Pearl, Miss Fame, Violet Chachki, Alyssa Edwards (right up front!), Victoria “Porkchop” Parker (who got a big fat close-up), Pandora Box, Alexis Mateo and on and on… 30 in all. THAT was EVERYTHING and then some. The song, “Dooo It!” Miley announced is FREE along with her whole new album, “Miley Cyrus and Her Dead Petz”. She gave away her album?! Oh, kids. If that whole shebang wasn’t entertaining enough for you, then you ARE cynical.

The boys from AsapSCIENCE are back, this time with a list of surprising things that can kill you. For instance, did you know it takes 70 cups of coffee to kill a 150lb person? And that while 13 consecutive shots of alcohol can be lethal, drinking six consecutive litres of WATER is just as deadly? Also: Never, ever bite into a cherry pit, of course. One or two ground cherry pits contain enough cyanide to topple you. And try not to eat 85 full-sized chocolate bars in one sitting. You’ll be unable to metabolize the Theobromine in the chocolate and will, you guessed it, DIE.

Of course the takeaway from this episode is how much pot you need to ingest before you die. Luckily, it’s A LOT. You’d have to eat 48lbs of marijuana before it becomes lethal. If you smoke it, the amount to overdose is comically high: approximately half a ton within 15 minutes – which is why there has never been a single documented death due to consuming too much marijuana.

New-York based photographer Lloyd Ziff was responsible for that iconic series of photographs eternalizing Robert Mapplethorpe and Patti Smith in their early twenties. He has now finished what is surely a fabulous monograph book of his beautiful work, and as he describes it, the book is “called New York/Los Angeles with the pictures that I’ve shot in both places from 1967 to the present.”

Season 8 is big for Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles star and uber-broker Josh Flagg. He’s earning bigger commissions. He’s buying a bigger house. And he’s getting into even bigger fights with hotheaded rival Josh Altman. It’s also Flagg’s first full season since the death of his beloved grandmother, fashion entrepreneur Edith. Flagg gives us all the scoop on the feelings and dealings to come.

 

Who’s your most demanding client this time around?

He’s in the premiere: This kid I went to high school with, whom I didn’t remember. I still don’t know who he was. It’s possible he didn’t actually go to school with me. He could be a serial killer for all I know. He had grand delusions of what his house was.

 

But he’s not as unbearable as dealing with Josh, right?

Josh is a nightmare every season. We just have completely different styles-in that I’m not a used-car salesman. [Laughs]

 

Last year you very publicly dealt with the loss of your grandma. What was it like going through that in front of cameras?

It was very difficult. It was also difficult to watch. But people really loved my grandmother, and it would have been strange if we didn’t include that. She was also 94 years old and had a fabulous life. We should all be so lucky.

 

What got you and longtime boyfriend Colton Thorn to finally buy a house of your own?

You can’t live in a hotel for the rest of your life! Well, you can, but you’d be a little tight for space. We’re probably going to tear down the house that’s there and build something great on the land that both Colton and I will design.

 

You’re the only broker left from Season 1. How long do you plan on sticking around?

I’ll do this when I’m in a wheelchair, if they want me back.

In this WOW exclusive, the brilliant Wes Craven (who passed away Sunday at the age of 76) talks about the reasons for the various clichés in horror movies (i.e. slutty kids die/virgins live, the heroes always ignore the obvious warning signs, the bigger and slower the killer the more likely they are to catch their victim…). Wes Craven, the famed maestro of horror known for the Nightmare on Elm Streetand Scream franchises, died Sunday after a battle with brain cancer. He was 76.

Craven, whose iconic Freddy Krueger character horrified viewers for years, died at his home in Los Angeles, his family announced. Survivors include his wife, producer and former Disney Studios vice president Iya Labunka.

Craven’s first feature film was The Last House on the Left, which he wrote, directed and edited in 1972. A rape-revenge movie, it appalled some viewers but generated big box office. Next came another film he wrote and helmed, The Hills Have Eyes (1977).

Craven re-invented the youth horror genre in 1984 with the classic A Nightmare on Elm Street, which he wrote and directed.

He conceived and co-wrote Elm Street III as well, and then after not being involved with other sequels, deconstructed the genre a decade after the original, writing and directing Wes Craven’s New Nightmare, which was nominated for best feature at the 1995 Spirit Awards.

His own Nightmare players, Robert Englund, Heather Langenkamp and John Saxon, portrayed themselves in that film.

Amidst their lowest series return viewing figures for the X Factor UK there is one very shiny glimmer of hope… the ray of sunshine from downunder Australia star-to-be Seann Miley Moore.

Gracing his very own wrecking ball handbag, massive platform heels, hoop earring and PVC skirt Seann belted out his lungs to perform Freddie Mercury’s classic ballad The Show Must Go On for the best audition of the night, to a massive standing ovation from the judges and audience.

Seann’s Facebook info says it all he is a “Quantuple Threat: Actor, Singer, Dancer, Songwriter, Wannabe Model,” who is working towards his “Best New Artist Grammy’s 2018! DREAM!” You go girl!

“Music has allowed me to be me… It’s very important to express yourself through fashion, through music, through just screaming at the top of your lungs! If it makes you feel happy and right then do it.

Living in Australia, I get a mixture of reactions—people walking in the street looking at you like ‘what the hell is that?’ In London, the people are just like ‘work it!’…I think it’s more accepting.”

Seeing the singer, judge Rita Ora joked:

“Did you go into my wardrobe?!”

Following his incredible audition new judge, gay radio presenter, Nick Grimshaw enthused:

“That was hands down the best thing I’ve seen all day. I loved it, I thought it was 100% you… you’re the person that everyone’s going to talk about tonight!”

Ora added:

“You’ve got so much passion and so much determination and so much individuality… there is nothing I can say to you, apart from I am so happy you came on this show.”

For instance: Did you know that Soft Cell’s “Tainted Love” was originally recorded by Gloria Jones in 1964? Fascinating. “The tune was written by Ed Cobb of The Four Preps who originally offered it to The Standells, who turned it down. Jones’ recording was a commercial flop that later achieved some notoriety in the UK.” Who knew? And who knew that “I Write the Songs” by Barry Manilow was first recorded by Captain and Tennille (on their 1975 Love Will Keep Us Together LP) and that they only recorded it after David Cassidy had the first release of the song as a single? ASTOUNDING. But the CRAZIEST fact is that Kim Carnes BEYOND ICONIC New Wave classic “Bette Davis Eyes” was originally a foot-stompin’ Country & Western song from the early ’70s. It’s TRUE. And you are going to PLOTZ when you hear it!

Kim Carnes’ 1981 recording of “Bette Davis Eyes” spent nine weeks at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 and was Billboard‍ ’ s biggest hit of that year. Well, this is just odd. The Wrap is reporting that Cate Blanchett is attached to star in an authorized biopic of Hollywood legend Lucille Ball that Aaron Sorkin is set to write. Yes, Aaron Sorkin, whose rat-tat-tat post-realistic meanderings will no doubt result in Lucy giving coked-out monologues as she paces around a dizzying maze of Hollywood backlots. WHAT WERE THEY THINKING? Cate Blanchett can probably do it because she can do anything. And playing Lucy, after playing Katherine Hepburn and Bob Dylan onscreen, is quite a hat trick. So I’m down with that. But let’s not kid ourselves: Tammie Brown would have been a better choice. As would (I cringe to say it) Debra Messing, who has probably been preparing for the role since puberty.

The film will chronicle Ball’s 20-year marriage to Desi Arnaz, with whom she starred on the classic TV sitcom “I Love Lucy.” Ball had two children with Arnaz before they divorced in 1960. She married Gary Morton the following year.

Lucie Arnaz Jr. and Desi Arnaz Jr. will produce with Escape Artists, whose executive Jenna Block will oversee development of the project on behalf of the Sony-based company.
