Huh? SPIKE TV, home to testosterone-driven shows like MANSwers, Deadliest Warrior, and World’s Wildest Police Videos… is doing a lip sync show? Can’t the gays have ANYTHING? To be fair, it’s based on the wildly successful recurring bit on Jimmy Fallon‘s show, and it’s going to feature a shit-ton of celebrities (including Justin Bieber, Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt, Julianne Hough, Hota Kotb, Mike Tyson, Queen Latifah, Taraji P. Henson, Terrence Howard, Victoria Justice, and Will Arnett)… so it might actually be kind of fun. But you’d think they’d ask Ru to come on and judge, or at least offer her blessing. So far it feels like the hets co-opting one of the last bits of pure gay culture left. I’m incredibly conflicted. What do YOU think? Will you watch?

The AUDACITY of IKEA to say adults can’t play in their store!! Next thing you know skipping, holding hands, or getting your 500 Days of Summer on in ANY way will be forbidden. WOWer Alex Whitman was caught reading the daily mail article about IKEA’s blasphemous new rule that you can’t actually be mad at because “safety first” and all. I’m more surprised to learn that playing hide-and-seek in IKEA was even a thing! Anywho, click to see who ruined the potential life changing experience of losing yourself in a bin full of pillows or sprawling out underneath a 4 piece canopy bed.

 

 Adults having too much fun at Ikea have been told to knock it off.

The Swedish furniture retailer wants shoppers to stop playing hide-and-seek in its stores as the game attracts a growing following on social media.

Why, it seems like just yesterday I approached the Digital department with my idea for a makeover show featuring ME! and a rotating series of drag queens, makeup artists, and club freaks. I figured I’d do about 20 episodes and then run out of looks or run out of guests and move on to something else. Well, here we are two years later, still going strong, and still having a blast. I’d like to thank everybody who’s come on the show, everybody who’s worked behind the scenes (the camera, lighting, and editing cuties), and of course all the fans who have been SO SUPPORTIVE and SO ENTHUSIASTIC. Let’s do another 100!

In today’s episode, Raven returns to the Transformation studios to Toot and Boot some of our past looks, then give me a lovely cherry blossom makeover. Check me out: I am SNATCHED FOR THE GODS. NYC is in full-on Björk alert!!!  The Icelandic queen kicked off her full-on promo tour the other night, for new album Vulnicura, with a series of intimate shows, beginning with her epic Carnegie Hall performance. Complete with a 15-piece orchestra, members of Alarm Will Sound and elusive collaborator Arca (who produced six of the songs on the album and co-wrote two), Björk was beguiling and bitter, making it extremely clear that she is still mourning the end of the 10-year relationship she had with artist Matthew Barney. That being said, nothing helps getting over an ex better than ascending from despair in a fab gossamer dress by Geoffrey Mac and predator armor headpiece by Maiko Takeda. Tickets for upcoming shows are sold out, but you can catch more of the electronic beats pioneer at her current retrospective at The Museum of Modern Art. (photos by Santiago Felipe)

Tumblr artist Christopher McParlan has digitally reimagined what some of your favorite male celebrities would look like as drag queens, and the results are hilariously AWESOME. Check out the newly BEAUTIFUL (Kanye! Bruno Mars! Joseph Gordon-Levitt!), the tragically BOOGER (Jonah Hill! Channing Tatum!) and the jaw-droppingly freakish (Justin Bieber!) (Seriously, he looks like Helen Reddy on steroids) (HEYOOOOH! Anybody? Anybody?). I think my favorite, though, is Rupert Grint. He’s FAAAAAAAABULOUS! (via HuffPo)

Says Christopher:

“I originally got bored one day (while watch ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’) and, for some reason, I just thought it would be interesting to see how famous people would look if they were in drag. So I began to just find images off the Internet and editing them in Photoshop.”

“I then realized after a few weeks/months of doing one image every so often, I has amassed a fairly sizable number. So, I decided to just start uploading them to Tumblr and see what kind of reaction they got.”

“The images are made by taking an image found on Google Images and taking it into Photoshop, getting rid of the eyebrows and stubble, adding eye makeup and contouring the face — in the way that drag queens do.”

“I still do it now, as it has only just recently taken off. I can’t see myself stopping anytime soon, although it can be fairly time consuming. It’s just something I occasionally do in my spare time.”

So… Broad City is kind of the best show OF ALL TIME and on last night’s season two finale of the shelarious show, RuPaul’s Drag Race season four glamazon, Jiggly Caliente made an appearance! Abbi and Ilana were at dinner on St Marks and stumbled upon a wig shop. ONLY TO FIND OUR GIRL JIGGLY AS THE SASSY WIG DEALER!

We called Jiggly to see what she had to say about the Comedy Central experience:

OMG…it was an amazing experience…Abbi and Ilana are HUGE fans of MAMA Ru and RuPaul’s Drag Race and they want to be in the show and says its on their bucket list!

So Henry Cavill gave an interview to ShortList, and was asked whether he wears “budgie smugglers” or “swimming shorts.” Now, in order to appreciate his answer, we need a little context: A “budgie smuggler” is British slang for Speedos. Budgies, of course,  being a type of parakeet. So when asked if he wore Budgie smugglers or swimming shorts he jokingly answered: “Definitely, definitely swimming shorts. For me, it’d be more like a parrot smugglers. A Macaw or something. Perhaps a large bird of prey. Bald eagle. There you go.”

Aaaaaand I just died. Plop. On the floor. Massive hemorrhage. Bleeding from the brain. Help me, Mommy.

Here he is talking about the time his clothes literally ripped. “At the end of Man of Steel, I had a suit tailored for the Immortals premiere. At that stage, I was at my very leanest. It was just after shooting my shirtless scenes. At the very end of the movie, I put that suit on again for a photoshoot we were doing and I ripped the seams, the inside seams, just because my thighs were that much bigger.”

Again. Dead. WHATTA MAN!

Soooo, last night was HUGE in NYC! Apparently, drunken actor Shia LaBeouf is back at it again. Last night he was arrested at the Broadway show Cabaret, after hitting people on their butts, slapping them in the back of their heads, and calling an officer a ‘fag’…all of this during the first act! Come intermission, he was handcuffed and arrested. Afterwards, Alan Cumming headed down to our party My Chiffon Is Wet and joined up with pop icon and David LaChapelle muse Amanda Lepore for Gay Pride kick-off and a little LaBeouf decompressing.
