The Tonight Show host surprised viewers last night by transporting them back to Bayside High. The icing on the cake was that former cast members Mark Paul Gosselaar, Tiffany Amber Thiesson, Elizabeth Berkley, and Mario Lopez each reprised their iconic roles as Zack, Kelly, Jesse, and Slater. But Lisa Turtle actress Lark Voorhies was a no show as well as Dustin Diamond’s Screech. According to THR, Voorhies wasn’t available due to an intense work schedule. Performance artist and trans icon Justin Vivian Bond went on a Facebook rant following D’Angelo’s appearance on Saturday Night Live last week.

Says Bond:

Years ago, at a party, I was walking past D’Angelo to go onstage when for no reason he kicked me on the thigh with his boot heel tearing my fishnets and drawing blood. Afterward, when I asked for an explanation he threatened to punch me in the face. Last night he was on Saturday Night Live surrounded by the phrase #BLACKLIVESMATTER. Black lives do matter. #TRANSLIVESMATTER too!!! You still owe me an apology. Good luck with your “Second Coming,” asshole.

From Frontiers Magazine: “The kick in question reportedly took place at Madonna’s 39th birthday party, where Bond performed live with Kenny Mellman as their famous cabaret act Kiki and Herb. At the time, D’Angelo’s manager insisted that the kick wasn’t motivated by homophobia, claiming that “It was more of a man-to-man thing than a gay thing,” suggesting that Bond may have spilled her drink on the singer.”

“Either way,” says the magazine, “it’s time for D’Angelo to ‘man up’ and apologize.”

Michelle took to the diary room to say she’s has finally seen Zelda for what she is; a game playing manipulator with no integrity. Why now Visage?

Patronising TV man Eamonn Holmes entered the house to host a CBB news debate.  There was a lot of predictable nonsense about people game playing etc ad nauseum. The Vacuum said he’d seen Zelda bitching about Michelle and Eamonn asked if Michelle still trusted her . Visage said yes. Oh.

Ballroom dancer James Jordan who was a pointless precocious pillock on a previous series of CBB (who called himself “the Brad Pitt of ballroom”. No babes) called The Vacuum a “vile human being” which predictably started a row.
Zelda was typical Zelda. There’s not much more to say about the insecure witch. Katie bad-tan Price was questioned about talking about her sex life and said “it’s all in my books anyway” and told Zelda to “shut the fuck up you boring old slag” when she started her predictable witchy ways. BOOM!!!

I’m glad it’s over tomorrow, my blood pressure can return to normal. In previous series, the arguments have been a sideshow to watching vaguely famous people do silly tasks but endless screeching became the main event.

Of the finalists, cheeky chappy Keith is the nicest, Michelle wants to win the most, Calum prettiest, Katie P most improved but I fear Zelda will take the crown.
Prove me wrong GB. Prove me wrong.

The team at Slow Mo Lab decided to shove firecrackers into an orange to see what would happen. The results? A glorious nuclear explosion of pulpy Vitamin C goodness filmed at 62,000 fps. It’s AWESOME.

As the DW points out: It’s pretty cool to watch, but a huge mess to clean up. And this is probably not the most efficient way to make some juice.

Trans TV reporter and longtime friend of WOW, Zoey Tur, who collaborated with us on our series LA Stories. Zoey finds herself in the news this week discussing Bruce Jenner‘s transition. Zoey – who famously filmed OJ Simpson’s white Bronco chase – told CNN that Jenner should be working faster to help those in the transgender community, many of whom struggle with thoughts of suicide.

 “We have a 42 per cent suicide attempt rate. We need Bruce Jenner to come out and stand up and talk about it…we need the world’s greatest athlete. Enough – come out and speak up”

Tur also spoke about her transition into a woman, saying it was both ‘horribly difficult’ and a ‘positive experience’. She says one of the most rewarding parts is the thousands of messages she’s received from people who identified with her struggles.

Tur previously told People that her daughter Katy was not supportive of her transition at first, and stop talking for her a period after she underwent sexual reassignment surgery last June.

‘My son was great, he told me, ‘I support your decision and if this will make you happy then I’m on board,” Tur told People.

It’s the final, hallelujah!!!
Katie bad-tan Price had to be sent out of the house for a medical check because one of her leaky tits was playing up. Zelda said she shouldn’t come back and Michelle & Calum thought she didn’t deserve to be in the final because she wasn’t there from the beginning.
The final five had a final drink, toasting each other and talking about their time in the house to a soundtrack of emotive music. Zelda spoke about herself. Of course.
Of all the drama, my favorite thing about this series has been Katie P being chums with cheeky chappy Keith. Unpredictably sweet.

Time came to see who won and in fifth place is…oh my….Michelle Visage. Really didn’t expect her to be fifth. She went in as a favorite but it’s likely her alliance with Zelda lost her favour with a lot of people.
She was interviewed by the glorious Emma Willis wearing a leopard print shift, giving us full on drag queen. She referred to The Vacuum as Lord Voldemort, defended her relationship with Zelda as a clash of left and right and said they’d formed a true friendship.

Fourth, Keith Chegwin. Really hope he gets some work out of this.  Nice bloke.

Third to leave was Calum Best (pretty bloke but didn’t contribute anything) leaving the two Katie’s to fight it out for the win.

The winner, I’m happy to say is Katie Price leaving Hopkins second. I’d like to think it was her saying “you boring old slag, fuck off” to Zelda that won it. I’ll be rolling my eyes next week when I see Price selling her personal life to supermarket mags but for now, let’s wallow in the fact she beat Zelda. Nice won over nasty.

Rosie O’Donnell‘s publicist confirmed the report and according to the New York Postthat she is leaving The View to focus on her five children. She first joined the show in 2006 and her arrival and left in 2007 and returned last year, after a major shake-up and things haven’t been so smooth, on or off the air. ABC confirmed her departure from the talk show in this statement:

Rosie is an immensely talented star who comes in each and every morning brimming with ideas, excitement and passion for the show.

When she told us she wanted to exit ‘The View,’ we respected and understood her desire to put her well-being and her family first.

We’re delighted she’s still part of the ABC family with upcoming guest appearances on ‘The Fosters,’ and we know she’ll return to ‘The View’ often with her unique point of view and updates on her work and her family.

O’Donnell and Michelle Rounds have been married since of June 2012 and adopted a daughter together. Apparently, they been living apart for months now.
